"My husband and I hired Charles Smith from Smith Restorations & Repair to get some work done (inside and out) over 3 months from Feb - April of 2018. In total, Smith Restorations handled repairs to our tree house, built a new deck, which included some stone patio work, installed floors for our entire first floor, updated our 1/2 bath and remodeled my kitchen. I am not a contractor and Charles had much better ideas than I did for how to rearrange the kitchen. We went from thinking we had to move electrical panels and walls to a much simpler design which he believed would achieve the same end. It did. His ideas saved us tons of money. 2) He was the only person who came out and gave a care about our tree house. It was dangerous, needed to be dealt with and two other contractors came and stuck up their noses. 3) We were given options, some of which included sketches. There is more than one way to do things and he knows more than one way. Great good, better, best scenarios. 4) Smith allowed us to use our resources when we had them (I had a good electrician friend) and he did not look to mark-up workers that he brought in to drive up the price. 5) Smith cleans up and hauls away mess. Every day. Enough said. 6) Cost effective. Straightforward in materials and labor costs. 7) Smith Restorations went above and beyond for us and we just kept coming up with projects.
