"We were very please after our kitchen renovations were done but we did not consent to pictures of our kitchen being placed on line. Within the 3-year warranty, we had to contact Pedro, the owner several times concerning a pipe under the sink that was leaking and the microwave vent. After the three-year warranty was up, he was non-responsive. We left several messages on the companies’ voicemail and sent numerous emails concerning installation of new appliances. During the process of having new appliances installed, Lowe’s informed us, that our water line was not up to code and the microwave was not measured correctly. Therefore, as a result of the waterline not being up to code, the refrigerator and dishwasher could not be installed. I do not recommend doing business with Hdez Cabinets. Thanks TR"

The personnel with Built Different was always personable and respectful which made me feel very comfortable having them in my home. They showed up did their work communicated as need. The contractor went above and beyond coordinating with other contractors providing access to the property when I could not be available and receptive to add on request. "Professional crew of two, very punctual and professional.  Quality of work was OK, but not great by any means.  I would say they could have done a better job with more time, but given the pre-paid service package was for a painter for a day, there wasn't much they could accomplish with great quality when they needed to wait for spackling paste to dry before painting  (8 man-hours with a crew of two, only gives you 4 hours).  I would advise anyone looking to pre-purchase a time-based service like this to reconsider the work they are paying for, it's a better scenario for both the contractor and the buyer to pay based on a project, which would lead to better reviews and a higher quality level of the work performed.  Time-based service promotions like these either wind up costing you more than you expected due to the additional time required to complete the work you think you are getting completed, or you suffer from lack of quality trying to squeeze as much work into the time allotted.  Either way, it's not a benefit unless you manage the project well from the start.
