"I've had so much trouble finding reliable, honest people to get things done so I admit I was skeptical. The job needed to be done, though, so I took a deep breath and came to Angi. I had two companies contact me and there was no follow through. Then Cory (The Grounds Guys) was in contact and responded to my texts almost immediately. In very short order, he came to my home and gave me advice and information on different options (I had asked for advice as I wasnt sure what I wanted). He gave me estimates and went over the process for each option. Once I let Cory know what I wanted, the work began. The work was in three stages for my yard and each one was started when he said it would be. I did have concerns at first and I talked to him about it. There was one very small spot that wasn't right and he was over to fix it right away. I feel confident that I can contact him if there's a problem I'm having or need advice. "I'm very dissatisfied with this company as a whole. After giving my deposit, I was told they would be to my home on a set date and time. They didn't show up on set date and didn't call or text as to why no one showed up. After calling several times, the next day someone calls apologizing profusely but gave no reason as to why the workers didn't show up. When you finally get them to come, they start the project and then the cat and mouse games begin! They'll call and say they have to finish another project and would be there a little later and then call back because that other project ran longer than expected. It's now 4 months into what I was told would be no more than a week! Calling the company itself about what's going on or complain is absolutely impossible, if someone does answer the phone, they give you the run around. Parts of my electrical was messed up by their worker, I was told that they would take care of it right away. Lies, lies and more lies with this company!"
