"Prompt response for quote which was considerably lower than others (most never  bothered to call me back )and was in line with cost my brother who is a builder in Bham said it should cost , short delay in installation but called well in advance to reschedule, cleaned up afterward, showed pictures of installation, no hidden costs, only problem was asked about installing baffles in path to attic furnace when quote was obtained  but they blew in everything and now I have @ 12 inches of insulation between attic entrance and furnace, called them about fixing this but never responded

"I have a construction background but was unfamiliar with encapsulation as I just moved to Georgia. After extensive review of the encapsulation systems that were available in the area, and the price difference, I concluded the Crawl Space Doctor was a good fit. The main reason I chose the Crawl Space Doctor was because of their system. The other system was double the cost of the Crawl Space Doctor, so I carefully reviewed the difference and felt I would be getting equal benefits. I selected a 90 mil film for my project. Greg was very prompt and articulate in explaining his system and how his team would complete the work. Greg and his team did excellent work. They took out all of the debris under the house, informed me of a few problems they detected and repaired, then went to work putting the encapsulation system in place. They were very efficient. The crawlspace is doing exactly what I expected. The benefits of the Crawl Space Doctor's system are these: I am breathing better air quality. I am noticing a difference in the temperature of the house with reduced cooling costs, and expect the same on my heating costs. My insulation and floor joists are no longer moist and susceptible to mold. My heating and cooling ductwork will last longer with the humidity gone from the area. The dehumidifiers Greg put in do not run continuously, they will cycle off once the humidity desired point is reached. My hardwood flooring will not buckle in the future due to excessive humidity. My vents are now permanently sealed so rodents can't come into the house in the winter. I have peace of mind knowing my home is more protected with an encapsulation. It is a no brainer product in that it is a good investment all around. I would highly recommend Greg and his team at the Crawl Space Doctor. "Summary: Hire them - period! This review has 2 parts: 1) Diagnosis of existing system by Phil, the owner and 2) Removal of old / existing system and installation of new system led by Danny, the lead installer of the FOUR! (4) men on our job. 1). DIAGNOSIS of "Old" System My wife and I bought a townhouse in Greenville and I knew (per the inspection) that the old system was "shot". Consulted seller's realtor for an HVAC Company recommendation as well as Angies List, where I saw the reviews for Energy Sharks. Submitted online contact form and had a call by the owner Phil within the hour. Set up the appointment THE NEXT DAY to inspect existing system. I was not able to be onsite but Phil checked it out and then spent time to explain the issues with the current system, and educated me in PLAIN ENGLISH why the system he recommended, along with the addition of an additional return to help supply the necessary airflow, was what would be needed to provide the level of comfort which we desired. Price was competitive and definitely less than Realtor's referral, who didn't even mention the return / airflow problem. Bottom line, Phil did his job and gave me a quote that I thought was fair (and thousands less than the other quote)... 2). REMOVAL of old system and INSTALLATION of new system. The crew of FOUR (4) MEN arrived at 7:15am and immediately got to work. They put in drop cloths everywhere they would be working and went about their work in a steady manner. A HUGE shout out to Danny, the lead installer. ASK FOR HIM on your job! He kept me constantly apprised of what was going on, where there were some holes in the ceiling that pre-existed, where the new return could be and should be, etc. Can't tell you how competent the entire team was. Each of the men did their part and they worked very efficiently. Less than 4 hours later, they were done. Got a quick tutorial and they were on their way. Summary: Prompt service, fair pricing and excellent communication means I am pleased to refer them - without reservation. Great job Energy Sharks! A+"
