"Kerry Greaves and Kaylin Ellis, owner and technician respectively, were outstanding professionals with whom to work. They refinished our dining room table and now it’s as good as new. I recommend them 100%! Mary & Lance Cunha, Johns Creek, GA"

"GREAT!! From the initial free estimate...through the actual work. This was an encompassing job, and, when all was said and done, took 7 hours of work--and, the technicians WORKED for those hours. No messing around with smoke/coffee type breaks (took half hour for lunch.....no problem). We'd interviewed three other companies.....and, VERY HAPPY we chose Tractorworx! Job was truly 'completed' also.....limbs trimmed and all debris removed, yard looked super. HIGHLY RECOMMEND."

Treehouse Builders questions, answered by experts

In most cases, you can attach a greenhouse to any type of house. However, certain factors need to be considered, such as the structural integrity of the house, available space, and local building regulations. You should consult with a professional contractor or architect to assess the feasibility and ensure proper construction methods.

Yes, proper grounding rods and conductors are essential for an effective system.

The quickest way you can protect plants and trees from frost is to cover them with garden blankets or frost cloths. Also, bringing potted plants or trees indoors is much simpler than trying to cover and protect them outdoors. Remember to anchor blankets with something such as sandbags, fabric pins, or rocks if the forecast calls for strong winds to keep them from blowing away and exposing your trees and plants.

Don’t forget to factor in the climate where you live during the planning stage. If your area is prone to bitter cold and heavy snow, you might want to invest in stronger greenhouse materials like a concrete slab, steel frame, and glass walls or plan to take your greenhouse down for the winter.

The only real drawback to green building is that it’s more expensive up front, with per-square-foot prices sitting 33% higher than what you’d pay to build a traditional home. The higher cost is due to more expensive building materials and more labor to ensure every aspect of the home is as efficient as possible. However, green buildings often save money in the long run, so this is just a temporary downside.
