"Trevor has been an amazing contractor who has helped us through the process of installing a large interior door for an office. He has helped ensure the space was properly prepared for installation of the door. The other contractors who have assisted Trevor have also exceeded my expectations. They have been extremely detail oriented and have done everything to ensure the best outcome. I would definitely work with Trevor for any future projects."
"The Handy Duo was amazing from first contact. We were in a bind with a previous contractor that decks failed inspection miserably. The contractor was not able to be reached after multiple attempts in various avenues to correct the failures. The Handy Duo were thorough and educational in walking us through exactly what the failures were and why from a safety perspective. The Handy Duo also walked us through exactly what they would have to do to bring the decks up to code. The Handy Duo took every effort to preserve what they could to help us in our bind and ensure we were comfortable and confident in their ability to do the job effectively and efficiently. The Handy Duo under promised and truly over delivered in quality, communication, and timing. We will definitely be hiring them again for other jobs."
"I have over a dozen rental houses in the metro Atlanta area so I know good and bad contractors. These guys were excellent. Eddie came out when he said he would and crawled under the house and then came out and specifically told me what the problem was and how to fix it. I read people very well and could tell he knew what he was doing. Last thing I wanted was to hire someone who would cause me more problems as this was a very difficult fix. His crew came out on time every day and as important they themselves were very knowledgeable. Eddie said around 10-11 days and that is exactly the time they took. The crew was very courteous and cleaned up everyday before they left. I was so impressed I hired Eddie as the general contractor to replace the roof on the house and that work was just as good as the foundation repair. You should consider this company. "

"The electrician did good work. However, I was charged for "parts" that I had on hand- electrical tape, etc. I had purchased everything needed for an install. Advice --tell them and any other contractor to ask you FIRST before they use parts. Again the work was good."

"From the time I filed my insurance claim until we actually had the work performed, I interviewed about 8-10 potential contractors over the course of a few months while waiting to resolve matters with the insurance company and get on someone's calendar. We had a very wet summer and many of the contractors I called were too busy to meet with me or failed to keep their appointments. Although they were also back-logged at the time longer than I initially wanted to wait, it turned out waiting was the best choice I could have ever made. Marcus, foreman David, Katie in the office as well as the entire roofing crew KNOW what they are doing when it comes to a entire roof replacement. Not only that, but they LISTEN to the customer's wants, needs and expectations for the job and go out of their way to meet or exceed these expectations. Unlike some pushy salesmen, Marcus was a true professional and patient with our many questions by taking time to answer all of them and ensure we were satisfied with the plans and contract. Ultimately, we are quite pleased with the finished product and so glad with our decision to use M&C Roofing. Good price, great service and excellent material & labor warranties. Job well done! "

Unfinished Carpentry questions, answered by experts
Using a steel frame may raise the value of your home. Steel is more heat resistant, has better longevity, and doesn’t need any upkeep compared to traditional wood. You can also customize a steel build a little easier than other materials like brick, concrete, and vinyl—which have trouble bending and adapting to renovations.
A few signs that you need a new door frame include:
The door no longer fits properly in its frame and sticks or scrapes.
You notice cracks, holes, or rotting.
You feel a draft coming from around the door when it’s closed.
You find yourself frequently needing to make repairs.
Yes, professionals can install new frames, trim, and threshold adjustments for a complete finish.
Traditionally, bungalows are single-story homes, although having a half or partial story on top of the first floor is common. While adding a second story to a bungalow is certainly possible, the home would no longer be considered a bungalow by the strictest definition.
Building a barndominium means converting a barn into a house. Barndominiums are becoming popular as spacious and stylish alternatives to typical housing structures. Old barns that become houses traditionally consist of wooden construction. However, newer structures, such as pole barns, often contain metal exteriors and roofs. Converting a metal outbuilding into a house presents an excellent opportunity to create a barndominium from metal.
