I had spoken to Bryan, made an appt for an estimate. I have gotten other estimates so what was one more. He was very knowledgeable, attentive and professional. After explaining what I wanted he had drawn me a picture with all the dimensions, a detailed estimate of the job at hand. After changing my mind and him being the patient man that he was we came to a conclusion and started the next day. His crew as well as himself had the utmost respect for me and my home which is hard to find these days. For most homeowners, wood and wood screws are the best materials to make concrete forms because they’re affordable, readily available, and easy to work with. Steel is a better concrete form material because you can use it thousands of times for repeated work, but this is most useful in commercial applications where one job is necessary many times over.

If you're repairing a sagging or falling fence, a concrete base can strengthen the fence against burrowing animals, erosion, high winds, and more. Having a concrete reinforcement slab installed with a chain link fence can cost $4 to $10 per square foot.

Thicker concrete is less likely to crack due to extreme weather changes. At a minimum, concrete slabs should be at least 4 inches, but if you’re worried about the concrete cracking under the weight of heavy machinery or from the freeze-thaw patterns of your climate, you should use even thicker concrete. To remove carpet padding glue from concrete, scrape away as much of the top layers as possible with a sharp-edged scraper or putty knife.
