Pool and Spa Servicing
$2,900
Horrible! The pool was not measured properly so the liner never fit. It was falling from the sides, wrinkling around steps & bottom. They left rocks all under the liner. They did come out twice to "fix" where liner was coming detached from top of pool. I called several more times after but never got call backs & no one would come out again. The liner is completely shot 4 yrs later, Homestead doesn't acknowledge ever doing our liner so use them at your own risk.

Homestead installed our pool in 1998. Mark & his staff have been helpful from the very first. They have never tried to seel us anything that we did not need or want. Their advice has always been sound.

Pool and Spa Servicing

It did not go well.  I paid $1,200 down to order the liner.  When they originally came out to replace the liner there was ground water in the bottom of the pool under the old liner and they said they could fix it with an additional $1,200 or we could wait to see if the water receded.   Since it was early February, I decided to wait and see.  After a month of waiting and having an ugly, empty pool, I still had ground water in the bottom of the pool and decided to go ahead and spend the extra money to have it fixed and be done with it.  I called them and told them to go ahead with the necessary repairs and get the new liner in.  Two weeks later they still had not done anything.  I called back and they said they would be out to look at it.  They then said they could not fix it with the ground water in the bottom and it would have to get completely dry before they would touch it.  A complete turn around from the February evaluation.  It was early April by now and they had gotten busy building new pools and did not want to honor their February price.  The whole time they had my liner and  my $1,200 that I had paid in January to order it.  I had to pay an additional $350, but I went down there and got the liner and called another pool company to come out and put the liner in.  That install went well.
Response from Homestead Pool and Spa
"The member was so unsure about what he wanted to do. A high water table is a unforseen problem and needs to be handled or allowed to dry. He never gave us a definate go ahead and this statement is not true. His comment is unfounded and isnt fair. He recieved the liner that he paid for after he asked us to store it for months for him. We are a professional company that could of easily taken his money and pumped the water out fast enough to get the liner in, only for him to have major issues quickly with. But that isnt how we operate which is why we are the oldest pool company in the area. The member, you have to much time on your hands, no harm was done to you and you shouldnt have posted such negativism on here like you have done."
