His team built two 30' retaining walls for an in-ground pool/spa project we had going on. We were so impressed with his work that we hired him to build an outdoor fireplace, install travertine pavers under our deck, grout the pavers the pool company laid, build a new staircase with backlit treads leading down to the pool, install dry-wells and drainage. Juan was patient with us because we are very particular and made sure that we were 100% satisfied with everything. He is also bi-lingual which made communication clear and easy. "I received Jose's contact information from a friend in my neighborhood that had great experiences with him. Jose arrived shortly after me contacting him to review the work I was requesting, and responded with a quote for the job. The work was 23 pallets of 419 Bermuda and a full irrigation system on both existing and newly installed sod (7 zones), along with a Hunter smart controller with WiFi capabilities. Jose communicated effectively with me in the weeks leading up to the scheduled date, promptly and professionally answering all my questions. On the day of the scheduled work, Jose and his crew arrived early and began work quickly. They were extremely hard working and diligent in their process. I was amazed to see the transformation occur in just two short days. After the install, I needed a few of the sprinklers tweaked, and Jose and crew arrived quickly for the adjustments. afterwards, the system is working perfectly! Most pond installations take 3-10 days, depending on excavation, liner placement, and filtration setup.

To maintain your pond, you’ll need to occasionally clean your backyard pond, especially if you have koi fish. Test the water twice a week to make sure your fish have everything they need and always remove visible debris.

When deep cleaning your koi pond, transfer fish to a clean, uncontaminated container at least one foot deep, like a large bucket, tub, or kiddie pond. Fill the container with their existing pond water to avoid shocking them, and place the container in full or partial shade. When it’s time to reintroduce them into the pond, slowly add the new water to the container before adding the fish and container water back into the pond.
