This project was done while we were out of state and Cal communicated with us nearly on a daily basis. He didn't hesitate to offer ideas and often had more than one idea for a solution to sticky remodel problems. That said, he respected our input in every way. Cal was a great listener. If he was ever frustrated with his subs or us, we never knew it as he has a very calm disposition. He also has a good sense of humor which made working with him enjoyable. Even though this project took longer than expected due to COVID-19, Cal's attention to detail and high standards never faded. One of the things we heard many times throughout the process was "we'll make it right" and he always did. Cal went above and beyond what we expected from a contractor. Working on this project from a distance meant that we had to have things shipped and we often had other service providers scheduled at our home when we weren't there. Cal always found a way to get the packages into the condo and made himself or other employees available to open the condo to other service providers.
