"He completed our vinyl floors (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and hallway) & installed a new front door and glass door. He was so kind, never complained, and completed his work in a timely manner. He also made sure he left all areas clean! We will always call on Handyman Pro! Thanks Daniel!"

"Camielle's Touch Designs was prompt to respond and make appointment to assess the job and begin the work. They were hired and completed the job. We failed to provide the correct materials which requires another trip for them but they completed the job they were asked to do. This was a small job but they stepped in when needed and completed a job that someone else had not completed. Much appreciation for their dependability!"

"Got 4 jobs done quick and precisely. Very nice and straight to the point. Won't try and sell fluf or charge you extra for anything. He's seemed honest and understanding. One of the jobs he did was properly install and streamline the water pressure release line on my water heater. The next day I noticed the heat and water pressure valve was consistently letting out water all day. He came by again as soon as possible and when we both looked at it the valve was old and rusted out on the inside. Wasn't his fault it broke, him working on it the other day just finally put the nail in its coffin yet he went out and bought a new one and installed it for free."

"We cannot say enough great things about Guia and the work he did on our brewery. After hiring someone else who completely botched the job, we were understandably hesitant about bringing in another painter. From the very beginning, Guia was professional, honest, and respectful. He took the time to assess the situation, pointed out the obvious issues that needed to be corrected, but never once spoke negatively about the previous contractor. That level of professionalism spoke volumes. What impressed us most was that he truly under-promised and over-delivered. He was focused, detail-oriented, and treated our establishment as if it were his own. His years of experience working for a major paint company were evident in both his craftsmanship and work ethic. The quality of his work exceeded our expectations, and the level of care he put into every detail did not go unnoticed. My wife and I are absolutely ecstatic with the finished product and grateful that we found someone who takes such pr"

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

There are three types of pool filters—cartridge, sand, and D.E. (diatomaceous earth). Cartridge and sand filters are the most popular types and are affordable and easy to maintain. D.E. filters are more expensive and require more maintenance, but they are also very good at filtering out small particles.

For maximum effectiveness, you should keep your solar pool cover on whenever your pool isn’t in use. Covering the pool during the day allows the solar cover to use the sun’s rays to heat your pool, prevent evaporation and heat loss, and protect your pool from debris.

You can place a pool alarm on the surface of the water or mounter underwater with motion detectors. Alarms placed on the surface will alert you if it detects wave movement. If mounted below the surface, known as "sub-surface,” the alarm detects changes in water pressure.

Yes, adding a pool to your property will almost always increase your homeowners insurance premiums. This is because pools are considered a greater liability due to their potentially hazardous nature, and the added replacement cost of the pool is factored into your home's rebuilding cost when considering coverage limits. The amount of the increase can range from as little as $50 to a few hundred dollars more per year, depending on your insurance provider, location, current coverage, and the safety features installed. Before building a pool, it is highly recommended to contact your insurance agent to get an estimate, discuss their specific guidelines and requirements, and factor the increased premium into your total pool installation costs.

Generally speaking, most municipalities require you to get a permit when you build a pool. Whether or not you need a permit to install a plunge pool will depend on your local laws. It’s always better to check with your HOA and town clerk before digging for a new pool. Otherwise, violations could result in hefty fines.
