Metropolitan Moving & StorageMetropolitan Moving Co was stellar in every way for our interstate move. Their moving associates were efficient, skilled, friendly and careful. We moved from a multi-floor house and had some heavy, big furniture pieces. Here is how they excelled: - Their estimator was very experienced and quickly evaluated our job. His estimate of our space requirements was correct. The actual price was exactly right. - They delivered used boxes and new tape/bubble-wrap to our door for our pre-move packing - They arrived to pack early and were done early. They arrived at our destination on designated day/time and efficiently unloaded to storage. - They carefully wrapped each furniture piece - They expertly used the moving van and storage space to carefully fit in as much as possible - When we had a few too many items to fit in one moving van (as they had predicted) they offered temp storage and moved them to us on the next van to FL (at very reasonable cost) - Nothing broken, damaged or scratched. When it was time to move from storage to our Florida home, I wish I could have used Metropolitn again! The Florida movers couldn't stop mentioning how well everything was wrapped and packed. Yup, Metropolitan was a rock star in their eyes. Moving can be a stress-filled time, especially since we had to move right as DC became "locked down" for the 2020 Pandemic; but, Metropolitan made this move as stress-free as possible and I highly recommend them to any of my DC friends who are moving.- Kris O.

This moving company, which employs professional movers, individuals who demonstrated an immense pride in the quality of their work, provided me one of the best consumer experiences I have ever have. Beginning with the initial quote process and setting up the move, Paul was a pleasure to speak with. He was quick, responsive, and flexible to our changing needs. Paul set us up with Josh R. and Mike, two men who embody the essence of what this company is built on. Josh R. and Mike were the pinnacle of courtesy, professionalism, and determination, all in an effort to remove the stress of moving from our minds. Our move went off without a hitch, and no item, no matter the size, proved to be a challenge for these two highly capable movers. After having moved us in and realizing that the time we were quoted for exceeded how much time we actually used, Josh R. readjusted our quote and saved us money. Let's Get MovingThis is the second time I have used LGM. The service was excellent 2 years ago so this time I did not bother calling any other companies. Go with what works. LGM came through for me again by making moving as pleasurable and easy as possible. Josh R. and Angelo were great. They jumped on the job and got it done in record time. Let's Get MovingIt was OUTSTANDINGLY GOOD. Super-responsive and communicative office manager (Paul Cote), as well as a great courteous, competent, conscientious and punctual moving crew ensured this move went off FLAWLESSLY. They showed up RIGHT ON TIME, took great care of our furniture by wrapping everything in blankets before loading it on the truck, and then did the same when they delivered and placed it at our retirement town house located 90 miles south of here. They finished the job 2 hours earlier than I and their office manager had estimated, so it cost me $500 less than what I had budgeted for. This is a GREAT COMPANY. If you are doing a local or intrastate move from Pinellas County to any nearby Central Florida county, I would strongly suggest you hire this company. Honest business!- EDWARD M.

Kings Pro MoversThis company was professional in every way. They really put my mind at ease and I felt comfortable with them moving all my furniture and tons of boxes. They called before coming, they showed up on time and worked their ***** off. It took 3 large truck loads. They did however come to me and advise me they cracked the screen of my big TV. He wrote up a report/form and said insurance will cover this. They don't just carry the state minimum like most companies. They replaced my TV within 2 weeks with like kind and quality. Michael Jr. personally hand delivered the Tv and took it out of the box to make sure everything worked. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Thanks for moving all my stuff!- JANICE B.

They responded to my quote request very quickly & were available when I needed. Price was competitive. We packed ourselves so we only needed basic moving of a 3 bedroom house & 2 car garage. They showed up on time. Great energetic trustworthy guys. Only 3 problems - they underestimated the size of truck needed & didn't finish in 1 very long day - 8am to 10pm. The good news is they were able to finish up quickly on Day 3 (on a holiday weekend). The 3rd problem was they broke our TV. However they did give us a pretty good credit above and beyond the insurance. I would use consider using them again.

When I called the company I was ensured they followed CDC guidelines, I requested they wear masks, and booties. I was assured they followed all CDC guidelines. They arrived at my home at 830am with no masks, booties, they told me they are not required to wear mask? They said there was nothing on the order that it was requested. They managed to find 2 masks in their truck. I am a senior, until all are tested I have to make the assumption everyone is asymptomatic. Younger people socialize more than seniors. I needed the job done. They did a good job, no complaints. They where very nice young men. No complaints. However with the pandemic and seniors being the most infected this company needs to follow CDC guidelines. I had to keep watch of everything they touch so I could sanitize after they left. Because of this I wouldnt hire them again, it was too stressful. They need to make it easier for all customers by following the guidelines.
