"Phil was very pleasant on the phone and in person. He arrived on time for his appointment. Phil eagerly shared details about what work would be done in the remodel and points of differentiation on quality of work that his company would provide. Phil also had many brochures on other features or component for the pool, such as colored lights, fountains, solar heating, pumps, and so on. Phil was quick to provide an email within the week with his detailed quote and 3D rendering of what the pool and surrounding area would look like. Phil's quote was the highest of the three we received. In the end, we decided to use another company that seemed better suited for us."

"Their service was great! Before I found these guys I had two company’s who pulled a no call no show. One of them was just for an estimate! These guys showed up exactly when they said they would, had a great attitude and got the job done. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable landscaping business.(yes they do exist!)"

"

This is a larger project than most I have done. My biggest concern was Ray, was so darn personable and knowledgeable. Usually to good to true is the counter indicator. He was way ahead of me on every step, from the initial review to completion. His crew did some absolutely beautiful stone work.

On a project this this size there are always a few wrinkles, and that is where Ray Construction really came through. Calling back subcontractors on missed issues, and fixing things right!

Fountains questions, answered by experts

When deep cleaning your koi pond, transfer fish to a clean, uncontaminated container at least one foot deep, like a large bucket, tub, or kiddie pond. Fill the container with their existing pond water to avoid shocking them, and place the container in full or partial shade. When it’s time to reintroduce them into the pond, slowly add the new water to the container before adding the fish and container water back into the pond.

Placing your water feature in direct sun can speed up evaporation, leading to pump damage and algae growth. Shade or partial shade serves as the ideal location for most water features—just watch out for tree and plant debris that may fall in and clog the pump.

Yes, many brands make models similar to endless pools with a range of features. Some companies feature temporary aboveground pools that imitate the effect of permanent installations. Small home pool spas—or spools—as well as lap pools and pools without propulsion designs for water aerobics are also available.

In addition to length and width, pond liners also come in various thickness levels. Thickness is measured in mils, a unit of measurement equal to one-thousandth of an inch, with most pond liners ranging from 15 to 60 mils in thickness. The smaller the number, the thinner (and weaker) the liner. To prevent rips and tears, it’s best to choose a pond liner that’s at least 30 mils thick.

Regular water testing, debris removal, and seasonal maintenance ensure healthy water quality.
