Amazing job by Top Gunn Pools. We had an inground pool and spa built. The entire project took 3 months. Crew was here daily and worked diligently. So professional and quality work. Everything turned out perfect. Couldn’t be happier with the owner, Bob. A true professional that takes pride in his work!

Job was done promptly and looks great.

We have considerably mixed feelings about this.
Bobby was punctual, informative and blew us away with the book of references he gave us. He clearly has a passion and believes in his work. We had several providers come to give us estimates and he was the only one that we were tempted to call back immediately and sign up with. He also gave us the best pricing for Wet Edge, although not the best pricing for a plaster or quartz finish. 
There were, however, two red flags when talking to him.
First - he was trying to figure out where he could dig a 4'x4' trench to bury the waste leftover from cleaning the pool after applying the new finish - cement, stones, etc. This troubled us on several levels as we are gardeners, no one else mentioned doing this, that's a large hole and it didn't sound environmentally friendly. We couldn't help but wonder if costs were being cut where they shouldn't be. 
Second - He said that he didn't offer warranties as they meant nothing in this business and he'd never had to go back to a job. The first thing we'd been told when researching this was that a person should always get a warranty on the work. The reason we were interested in Wet Edge is that they advertise that only certified applicators can apply the product and that it has a lifetime warranty. When I went back and checked the Wet Edge site for local applicators his business wasn't listed there. I double checked our estimate and it had Wet Edge product written on it. So I called Wet Edge, thinking perhaps he just wasn't on their site yet. They told me that they had never heard of his service or him and that he definitely wasn't one of their certified applicators. 
We had liked him enough that we decided to email him about our concerns, hoping to give him an opportunity to "save face", but never heard back. In fairness, we contacted some of his references and they had been very pleased with his work. To us, the warranty was a very important aspect, however.

There are none better. Three other companies contacted prior to meeting with Bobby Mull, the owner of Top Gunn Pools based on the recommendation of a general contractor who told me and quot;don't use anyone else.and quot; Great advice. Price was competitive, fair and all aspects of the service were practically flawless. Bobby appears to be actively engaged on every job but when he's with you, you have his total attention. My wife and I felt like we always knew what to expect the next day and all of the workers were punctual, friendly, very knowledgeable, efficient and paid great attention to detail... to include doing an exceptional job cleaning up before they left each day. The result is that our 25 year old pool area looks absolutely new... and fabulous. My wife and I could not be more pleased.

This was BY FAR the best customer service experience I've ever had. They were extremely punctual, sometimes showing up before sunrise! They worked hard, were very professional and kept me informed throughout the process. Nothing was left to chance, as the owner Bobby Mull, was very involved in each phase of the pool remodel. We relied heavily on his expertise, and we are glad that we did. Everything turned out better than expected.
I can't imagine anyone providing a better service than Top Gunn did.

Very professional, very helpful, very patient, and answered all my questions

Bobby worked with me from the beginning until the end on a personal basis and was always easy to get in touch with. His workers were both courteous and neat and finished our pool exactly when they said they would. I chose this company because of reputation and quality not cost but I thought the price was very fair considering the quality of work. Highly recommended.

Bobby had originally given me an estimate over a year ago, and we just got around to having the work done. As soon as we gave him an initial deposit and signed the contract, he had people out working. It was the same 2 men who came all the time. Bobby was always on time and kept in touch about what was going on. He always gave me options and ideas. He was waiting for me to pick out the tile and pavers before he could do more work at one point. I couldn't keep up with him! Overall, very responsive to your needs and demands! Always takes his calls and does as promised. I have already told people who are remodeling or adding a pool to use him! Great work, meticulous about details.

BOBBY MULL DELIVERED ON ALL THAT WAS PROMISED AND SOME. HIS FOLLOW-UP AND TIMELY COMMUNICATION WAS STELLAR. EXCELLENT QUALITY AND VALUE FOR THE PRICE.

BOBBY GUNN DID THE ESTIMATE. HE IS VERY POLITE AND FURNISHES REFERENCES. WE DID MISCOMMUNICATE ON THE COPING THAT SURROUNDS THE POOL. I ASSUMED THAT IT WOULD BE REGROUTED AND TURNS OUT, HE FEELS IT IS PART OF THE DECK. NO WHERE ON THE CONTRACT DOES IT ADDRESS THE COPING (TILES THAT ARE ON TOP OF THE POOL DECK) SPECIFICALLY, SO I WOULD ADVISE ANYONE GETTING A POOL JOB TO BE VERY SPECIFIC ABOUT EVERY PART OF THE POOL, INCLUDING THE DECK AREA. NOW, I HAVE A RESURFACED POOL AND GROUT FALLING OUT OF THE TILE COPING. I HAD ANOTHER COMPANY DO THE KOOLDECK PRESSURE WASH AND PAINT AND THEY DID NOT ADDRESS THE COPING EITHER. SO... THIS IS A NO MAN'S LAND. BOBBY SAID HE WOULD COME BACK AND GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE TO DO THE GROUT ON THE COPING, BUT HE HAD 2 MEN QUIT UNEXPECTEDLY AND NOW HE IS REALLY BACKED UP AND DOESN'T KNOW WHEN HE WILL GET TO MINE. SO I AM STUCK, UNLESS I CAN DO IT MYSELF, OR GET ANOTHER COMPANY.

I FOUND THIS CONTRACTOR ON ANGIES LIST. BOBBY MULL WAS A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH. HE WAS PUNCTUAL, FOLLOWED UP ON ALL DETAILS, AND IN THIS BUSINESS THAT IS SOMETHING VERY RARE - HONEST TO A FAULT. HIS CREW WAS POLITE, COURTEOUS AND CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. THE WORK WAS TOP QUALITY AND THE LANAI LOOKS BEAUTIFUL. I RECOMMEND TOP GUNN WITHOUT HESITATION.
