"Aquanautics is an amazing company, with a great staff that values their clients, communication, and high standards. They respond promptly to any question. They keep you abreast of all progress throughout each step, ensuring your satisfaction. They use quality products, from well know vendors that you get to touch, and often take home samples to compare and design. There was never any pressure to get what we didn't want, or to purchase more expensive products. I am extremely happy with our new pool. We waited seven months to write this review, to ensure that the pool was still up to our standards, and it's just as amazing as the first day. Everyone that comes to visit asks us who installed our beautiful pool. We are so proud to have their work of art in our yard. They asked us what we wanted and gave us exactly that, our dream pool."

"He did a pretty good job. It turned out to be pretty good, I was very pleased with it. The only thing I had a problem with him was that he said he was going to be here a certain day and he had to call to cancel. That was the only problem that I had with him. But after they started the job, it was start to finish. He was charging more, but I brought him down. I said, "I can't afford to pay more than this." The pricing was good. I think it was like pebble stone with diamond brite. I think the quality was good. If I leave a message, he would call me back right away."

Pool and Spa Servicing questions, answered by experts

You should put chlorine in your hot tub on a regular basis. To keep bacteria away, keep the chlorine level in your hot tub at between 3-5 mg/l, which may mean you need to add chlorine daily or at least every two to three days. Don’t add chlorine to your hot tub water more than once per day.

Most hot tubs will experience leaks due to wear and tear in the plumbing or the shell itself. The second most common issue is a heater malfunction due to the ongoing heat stress on moving parts. Finally, clogs happen in hot tub jets, especially when it’s time to change the filter.

How often you change the water in your swim spa depends on how often you use it. Most manufacturers recommend changing the water every three to six months. If you use your swim spa throughout the seasons, it’s a good idea to set up a quarterly deep cleaning schedule. The ideal instructions should be in the owner’s manual.

The cost to repair a hot tub or spa ranges from about $170 to $550, depending on the repairs needed. Some of the most common hot tub repairs include leaks, clogged filters, and tripped GFCI breakers. If it’s an electrical problem, you should contact a professional hot tub repair service. Don’t DIY electrical repairs on a hot tub, as poorly repaired wiring can make the hot tub a serious electrocution hazard.

When your hot tub is completely dry, there is typically no need to introduce antifreeze into the plumbing. However, if you desire an extra layer of protection against potential freeze damage, you can consider adding some RV antifreeze to your hot tub lines. Just ensure that you use RV antifreeze specifically, as automotive antifreeze is highly toxic and should be avoided.
