I have used Vanguard in the past and was very happy with them, so I called and got an appointment for Monday and was OK being without water for a day or so. David (tech) texted me 30 min later and said he could come earlier on Monday which was great, and when I explained what was happening in more detail, he offered to come out right then, on a Saturday! I explained that I could wait until Monday, but he insisted, and was there in a hour, and had it fixed 45min later. Thank you David! And if you are looking for a plumber, don’t go anywhere else!"

"Ken the SWINDLER,troubleshooted my unit&quoted me $1,200 flat.Less than 24hrs before the job,he tried to jack up the price.He made an existing hairline crack in my drip pan worse,causing water to leak all on my floor,then refused to take responsibility.His excuse: “It was already cracked.” He wanted to charge me for the damage HE caused.He discovered my parts were under warranty(including the drip pan)he then “owned up” to replacing it,acting like he was a hero.He brought me the incorrect fan relay,he left to switch it out.Disappeared for 2hrs,calls and lies about the place being closed when he left the incorrect fan relay at my house.Was promised a hard start kit for free if my breaker tripped.It tripped twice.Instead of honoring his word,he tried to push me off to an electrician&told me to start saving $8,000 for a brandnew system on a unit thats 3.5yrs old.He denied ever making the offer,admitted it later then ghosted me.Stay away unless you want A BREATHE OF FRESH PROBLEMS."

Texted him 11 days(Monday November 10)after last on site to my home. No reply to text. Contractor wasn?t the cheapest for this project. But I chose him because his presentation of his estimate. Maybe I should?ve save myself several hundred dollars and taken the cheapest estimate. The following is my last text to contractors: Good evening. I have not heard from you since October 30. You told me you would be back the following week. I would like to think that you are extremely busy, as to why you did not follow up. But then again you have been paid for a service that has not been completed. And another service that created another problem that has not been corrected. In good faith I rendered funds to you, but I did not receive the service equal to the funds. Update as of 12/04/2025 I see the contractor responded to my review. He never responded to my text messages. His review is full of dishonesty, and that is the reason I had no further use of his services. He never cleaned my dryer vent. He charged me $389 for a UV light that I could?ve gotten from Amazon for less than $60. I understand labor is a cost for installation. Yes, he returned the next day to address the air handler situation. He did something to make it run, but, within a couple of hours the problem started again. He?s a good salesman. But, what he sold was a lemon."
