"Have hired a dozen tree service companies in my lifetime all to which never followed through made excuses and at the end of the job was still never completed as arranged. Not the case with Fields Tree & Land Management they have went ABOVE AND BEYOND WHAT WAS ASKED AND EXPECTED FROM ANY COMPANY. As a Store Manager for over 20 years I know Integrity is always the KEY ingredient in success and Fields has that in buckets full that they started with just a job here but have earned a LOYAL CUSTOMER FOR LIFE, plus they made my 70 year old Mom Happy and that is saying a mouth full all by itself I would recommend them to anyone if your looking for a company that is above a 5 star rating today with there Integrity have earned a loyal customer for life and hope you will join me as one of those customers soon."

"Will and his team were very polite and respectful! They arrived on time and got right to work on our lawn. We had several steps involved in putting down new sod , (Provista),removing the old lawn, prepping the lawn and sprinkler system, delivery of new sod. Will kept us informed of every step as they went along. Our lawn looks beautiful and they did an excellent job from start to finish!! We would absolutely recommend Will and his team at Elevated Lawn and Landscaping!! Awesome work, Thank you so much . Craig & Rhonda Pearson"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

You can start your search for a reputable arborist online by looking for professionals who hold the proper licensing and are fully insured. Next, read through some online reviews to see what kind of service the expert brings to the table, and confirm that they don’t have a history of complaints with the Better Business Bureau. Finally, you can ask the professional for a list of references and then call them to ask questions about the service, professionalism, value, and more that the expert brings to the table.

There are a few instances in which removing a tree is the best option. You might do this if the tree looks to be a major danger—potentially falling onto your home, your car, or other parts of your property—or it’s diseased beyond repair. A tree that is growing too close to your house might need to be removed to prevent mold growth.

It depends on the type of tree. Typically, late spring on the cusp of winter is ideal for trees about to emerge from dormancy and produce new buds. That said, late fall is ideal for certain deciduous trees prone to bleeding sap. Avoid trimming trees in early spring, when they’re prone to disease.

The best way to protect tree roots is to avoid the roots entirely by excavating outside the root radius of the tree. For nearby projects, it’s a good idea to construct a temporary retaining wall. But that’s not always possible, depending on the project and the root system. In these cases, consider using alternative equipment like an auger to tunnel under the ground.

Remember, tree roots can damage nearby cement foundations as they grow. If a tree is close enough to interfere with large excavations, it may be better to remove the tree than risk future problems.

Planting a palm tree close to your home can provide shade while elevating the beauty of your yard. However, there are a few safety concerns to consider before doing so. You’ll want to opt for a smaller tree with a non-invasive root system. Select a species that won’t grow too tall and choose a planting location that won’t damage your home.
