"The technicians were polite and did do the downspouts and the drain replacement to our satisfaction. They advised that the gutters were full of debris and I asked them to clean them and they agreed. They advised me the charge would be $1.00 per foot x 300 feet. They did not take very long and I questioned if they were through already and Trey replied yes. The next day we had someone from a different company to talk to us about gutter screens and they took pictures of the gutters and 2 sides of the house gutters still had a lot of debris in them. They have been properly cleaned and the screens have been installed so they should remain clean. I feel like I paid $300.00 for work that was not done completely. Also, they looked at our gutters and wanted to sell us a new gutter system. It was determined that the gutters are fine."

"I would like to give this provider a higher rating but I just can not after the long process and frustration of this transaction. Here it goes:
I paid for and booked through Angie's List for 50' of gutter replacement.  A few days after payment the provider called me and we scheduled a day for someone to come out and inspect the work to be done.  When they arrived he gave me an estimate to finish the extra gutter work that went above and beyond the pre-payment and suggested that several pieces of lumber be replaced due to rain damage and to help secure the new gutters. I was fine with that and agree to another $400 in work.  I was told they would come by and do the woodwork first, then a team would come out and do the gutters. I agreed.
Several days later someone from the office called me to schedule the work; we agreed on 2 dates and I was told I would get a call the day before to confirm.  Couple days later someone showed up at the door requesting access to a power source for the power tools they would be using; I did not receive a call to confirm prior to their arrival as I had been told.  When I returned home later that day, new gutters had been installed and virtually no woodwork had been performed. A stack of lumber was left at my residence on that day.
Days later, again without a telephone confirmation, another worker showed up and did the woodwork. Looks good, no complaints, but I must digress for a minute.  I live in a small villa with a shallow front yard and flower beds on either side of my front gate/entrance.  The downspout on the right hand side of my property came down from the roof and emptied into a small tube buried slightly IN TO the flower bed. At least, that is how it was before this provider showed up and how I expected it to look before the concluded the job as "finished".  They did not seem to agree because after the wood work was done I got a phone call to pay the balance of the work they had performed.  I informed the office that I was not sure the work had been completed due to the fact that my downspout was not returned to its original condition of emptying into the flower bed, instead they had left some 2-3 feet of extra down spout just pouring into my flower bed causing loss of top soil and mulch.
I was told that services would need to be paid for but that a service call request could be done. Fine. I paid the bill the next day.  I was told that someone would be out within the week to perform the flower bed fix. Fine. I waited.
We returned home to find a service note at our front door along with a long piece of gutter. The note reads," These extensions can be easily removed or put back on they are not screwed on...We hope we removed the right one, if not we left the extension in the courtyard." I looked back outside the gate at the flower bed and NOTHING had changed.  This was a strange note to get if you just back up and read the dispatcher notes also on the service request form left at my door, which read (just above the worker's note to me, "Right side downspout at front - remove D/S extension. Water needs to drain into flower bed" The first 2 pictures attached show how they left the downspout AFTER leaving this note at my front door.
I took the 2 pictures below and emailed the provider to AGAIN request that the house gutters be returned to the same state they were in, with the downspout emptying IN TO the flower bed and I sent pictures to them to make the issue clear.  I received an email confirming the requested work.
The final picture below is how they left the property. Will that work, probably. Is that how the house looked before they arrived, absolutely not.  I am confused as to how job was so hard to complete when a simple bendable piece could have been added to the downspout so that it emptied in to the flower bed as before, not just aiming at the downspout but ACTUALLY emptying in to it as it did before this provider showed up. Very frustrating.
Overall, the work was fine but the lack of communication really bothered me and the complete seeming lack of having pride in the job being done perfectly was tiresome; the original gutter team should have known/guessed that I wanted everything fixed and returned to its original configuration, not the half done job they decided would be good enough.
