"After making full payment, We tried calling them so many times to show us how the pool equipments function but nobody returns a call. Worst service ever. They cheated us giving us 4/5 year old pool filter and older equipments. We are going to file complaint against them."

Reasonably priced to be competitive in the market. We attempt to "educate" our clients to all issues of their projects. Provide competitive solutions to the pool issues.

"The marsite was done in a timely manner and was fine almost 4 months later the salt water chlorinator is still not installed After 4 months we were told we needed a new pool timer and we needed to hire an electrician to wire the chlorinator. The contract was for Salty Dog Pool to install the device It was obviously not inspected prior to signing the contract nor was it mentioned It should have been included in the estimate and contract if it needed to be done That is their job. We did not even realize the chlorinator would have to be wired to the timer The electrician we called to finish the job immediately knew it was Fred from Salty Dog He told us that he does this all the time Do not use this company. They are not reliable They are now refusing to finish the job"

"Quality is what it is really all about at the end. And Hollywood Pools does not disappoint. I bought a house with a lovely pool that passed inspection only to find that it had a major crack and was leaking. After speaking with several pool companies I chose Hollywood Pools mainly because I felt I could trust the owner, Ron. The finished project is gorgeous. They scraped the Fiberglas from the Gunite pool. Pegged the deck and repaired the cracks. Added a new surface and then put travertine decking all around. I changed it to salt water, added a heater and got a larger pump. It’s a brand new pool and fantastic!! It was a longer process than I expected but when I ran into a family deadline the company stepped up and got the job finished. The man that cut the new travertine deck was amazing. It was like a true old fashioned tile cutter at work. I highly recommend this company. But to be sure you understand the timing ask a lot of questions. I didn’t and caused myself and Hollywood a lot of unnecessary grief. Thank you, Caroline Mortell"

If you live in an area where pool enclosures are expected, like in Florida, having one won't necessarily increase your home value. However, it's worth noting that in warm climates, a pool can add $11,600 to $95,000 to a home's value. 

On the other hand, if you're in an area where pool enclosures are not common, having one might set your home apart from the crowd. Depending on the appraiser, you may see an additional $25,000 to $27,000 or more for an enclosed, inground pool when it comes time to sell.
