"The cost was part of the insurance settlement on the move. Their responsiveness took a while. They repaired the couch that you would not know that there was any damage at all. There was only one worker and it was the owner. He was good. He was fine."

"We were impressed with the results. Our berber carpet was 10 yrs old and we contemplated replacing it. Although there were no big stains per se, the carpet was dirty in the "high traffic" areas. We found Oxi Fresh was rated highly in Angie's List and were attracted to their 'green' process, whereby they use very little water and thus don't flood the carpet. I made the appt on the online website of OxiFresh of Juno Beach. The local owner, Don Caputo, thoughtfully called the night before and again before he arrived the next day. Don did all the work himself and did a great job. He pre-treated dirty spots where necessary and then followed up with the regular cleaning solution. it took about 2.5 hrs and the carpet looks great! The dirty section results exceeded expectations. The carpet looks new. Don was attentive to the areas I stressed and was diligent in doing the job right. He made sure that I was satisfied with all the work. True to Oxi Fresh's claims, the carpet wasn't wet. How nice a feature! The price was exactly as quoted when I made the appt online. Don and Oxi Fresh has our seal of approval !

Mattress Cleaning questions, answered by experts

It is possible to wash your own roof, but we don’t recommend it. First, getting up on any roof is dangerous without proper safety equipment, especially if wetting a metal roof and making the surface slick. Additionally, it’s easy to damage your roof or force water between roof seams if you use a power washer, which can lead to property damage. Hiring a professional roof cleaner will save you time, keep you safe, and ensure that your roof looks new again without damaging it in the process. Plus, roof cleaning is a relatively affordable home improvement project.

Roof raking helps clear snowfall from your roof and, in turn, you hope that this prevents ice dams. But can roof raking actually cause them? Generally, no, it cannot. But you should note that while, in some cases, you might successfully prevent ice dams from forming near the edge of your roof by keeping it cleared with a roof rake, they could still form higher up on the roof, where you are unable to reach. This may leave you wondering: Does roof raking prevent ice dams? While it is not a 100% guaranteed way to prevent them, it does help.

In most cases, it is best to leave icicles on your roof and allow them to melt naturally. You should only consider removing them if they are heavy enough to cause damage to your home or pose a risk to people below. Since removing icicles can be dangerous, it is recommended to hire a professional for the job if you have immediate concerns. To prevent the issue from recurring, you should address the underlying cause, such as improving your home's insulation or installing roof heating coils.

The easiest way to remove snow from a roof involves using a roof rake that allows you to clear snow from the ground. Roof rakes are lightweight and feature adjustable handles, making them user-friendly for most people. This method also helps prevent ice dams and excess snow buildup, reducing the risk of roof damage during winter months.

When should you remove snow from your roof? A good rule of thumb is once six inches of snow accumulates.

You can use a pressure washer to clean a whole host of surfaces. The exterior siding of your house is one of the most popular spots, as well as your driveway, garage floor, patio or deck, and even your outdoor furniture. Just be mindful about the amount of pressure you apply to different materials—concrete can handle a lot more than wood, for example.
