We currently have 7 employees and we have several sub contractors that we sub out specialty trades to. We will come out and give you a FREE estimate for any projects that you might be considering. Our company requires a deposit on most projects. We work with each of our customers to provided them with the most excellent service.

"They did the job, but the first heavy rain the gutter came apart and loose from the house. Called several times, each time Nancy stated someone would be out to address the issues, never happened, they got their money and didn't care about fixing the job they were paid for. My son as attached the gutter together, until he can get new pieces of gutter to do the job properly, I feel they took advantage of me as a senior female, I hope before someone else thinks of hiring them they will read this review,"

"We had a great experience with Cer Custom Renovations. The work was completed about four months ago, but I waited to share a review until after we had lived in the space for a little while. Our remodeling project involved finishing half our basement to put in place a bedroom, full bathroom, and a rec room–and we are very pleased with the results. There are a few easy ways to locate a wall stud without a stud finder. First, try knocking on the wall with your knuckles. Most parts of the wall will sound hollow, but when you tap over a stud, it will sound more solid. Alternatively, since studs are spaced 16 or 24 inches apart, you can measure those distances from a corner of the room, which will always have a stud.

Carpenters are trained to take on a wide range of home projects. You can hire a carpenter to do framing, roofing, build custom furniture, and make significant upgrades to your home. General carpenters are usually able to handle most jobs. However, you may also choose to hire a carpenter who specializes in a specific type of carpentry. 

Modern brick houses are really stick-built homes with a brick facade for aesthetic purposes only, so most have framing. With genuine brick construction, most homeowners install furring strips over the interior of the brick and then install drywall over those strips to cover the brick wall, so they don’t have traditional framing.

There are a few options if you miss a stud. You can simply patch the hole with spackle, sand it down, repaint it, and then find the stud—essentially starting over. If you don’t want to do that, you can insert one of the more robust drywall anchor options and hang your item on that, but that will only work if the drywall is in excellent condition and the anchor is rated for the weight of the item you’re hanging on it. You may be able to cover the hole with the object itself once it’s mounted, but it’s still recommended to at least fill the hole to protect insulation and prevent vermin from entering.
