"I was originally told that a house of my size (<1300 square feet) would take approximately 2-3 hours for 2 people at $55 per hour.  We then changed it to 3 people at $95.00 per hour, as I was advised that they would go much quicker and so it would be much cheaper.  They were all very nice and seemed to be trying to work hard, as my place was indeed a mess as I had to turn my attention to other critical matters, but I explained that prior.  However, 1 of the ladies was sick the entire time and the other was limping the whole time.  So the whole process took 5 hours, which was considerably more than I was expecting.
Also, you know how you never see all the details until after someone has left,  The hardware that was holding the rods from my drapes to the windows had been pulled out of the wall.  I found this after I sat down and the entire contraption fell on me.  There was also missed places. I asked for the refrigerator to be cleaned out on the inside as I had deliberately thrown most of the food out so it would be easy.  They didn't hear/remember this, so when I asked about it, it was too late as the sick lady and the limping lady were already packed up and out the door.
All in all, what cleaning they did was pretty good, which is why I rated them a B.  But I would not recommend using a service that charges by the hour as that gets out of hand.  Use one that gives you a flat rate and you can agree on everything up front that is being handled.

Garage Cleaning Services questions, answered by experts

You can expect your seal to last anywhere from 1 to 5 years. Several factors affect this—material, frequency of use, and the weather. For example, seals made from high-quality rubber are built to withstand the elements and can go the distance with a little TLC. If your door sees a lot of action or faces extreme heat or cold, the seal could wear out more quickly. Regular maintenance—like cleaning and lubrication—can make your seal last longer. And while it’s rare, a professionally installed seal on a smooth floor can potentially last up to 10 years.

The lifespan of garage door springs depends on the type and quality of the springs, the physical environment, and the level of use. In general, properly installed and maintained springs open and close a garage door around 10,000 times . That equates to around seven years if you open and close the door about four times a day. If you use your garage door more frequently, live in a very cold or humid environment that promotes corrosion or rust, or have a very heavy door, your springs may wear out faster and require replacing sooner.

Yes, your Wi-Fi network could be to blame if your garage door opener is suddenly experiencing interference. If you can change the frequency of your garage door opener—or Wi-Fi router— this can be a good fix.

There are three ways to open the garage door when the power is out. One is to invest in a solar panel and battery system or generator backup power. Another method is to use the quick-release key to disconnect the garage door from the garage door opener. You can also use the key to your house to wait out the power outage and reset the garage door opener once the power returns.

If your garage door key is inside your home and you don’t have a spare key on hand to access your entry points, then call a locksmith.

It is possible to manually open a garage door. However, whether you should manually open a garage door depends on the source of the problem. If the door doesn't open because of a broken spring or cable, for safety's sake, you'll want to leave the door closed until you can have a professional inspect it and repair it. If the problem lies with the opener itself, you should usually have no problem opening the door manually.
