Excellent!!

The job was very good, it was the second time we used them.

Terrible. The guy who came to our house promised us several things that never were done to protect our valuable furniture. He told us they were much better movers since they took the time to wrap all the furniture and then in the new house unwrap the furniture. Sounds great right. Total friggin lies, nothing was ever wrapped and they destroyed my precious grandfather clock and even took photos before they left, promising that somebody would contact us about it. Later we found another sofa that was manhandled and a part of the wooden foot cracked and fell off. I have tried to contact them and they have not responded. We found out the hard way, movers down here are about the worst quality profession there is. In Florida, anybody can get a truck and start advertising they are a mover. Good luck.

Packing and loading appeared to go alright. Unloading was somewhat haphazard with cartons often placed in rooms different from markings on cartons. A brass floor lamp which was deconstructed by movers, presumably for ease of packing, was not reconstructed. After movers left, we discovered a leg from an easy chair had come off the chair. (The leg as not broken but the nails attaching the leg had pulled free of the chair and presumably could be repaired). We also discovered an opal finial was broken off and lost on one of a pair of antique lamps, and a outdoor patio table collapsed when its supports holding the legs to the table top broke as a 15-20 pound carton was placed on it. In addition, although we did not include it in our loss report, 2 wooden bookshelves and a support from a storage etagere were missing.
