"Contractor provided excellent consultation on the type of upgrades and improvements we wanted to make during our project. Jeff was excellent at suggesting improvements to our bathroom shower, entrance and new vanity and cabinets. He offered excellent contractors that we used for new granite countertops for kitchen and bath areas. He also met us at Floor and Decor store and assisted our selection of new bathroom tile and flooring that was used to replace our ugly old carpet in our living room, dining room and hallway areas. Contractor coordinated scheduling of tile, cabinet, plumbing and countertop installations with all sub contractors selected for our project. We are extremely happy with the results of their work!"

My husband and I bought this home brand new 33 years ago.  It was after raising a family and getting our children off to college and on their own that we decided it was time to remodel our home built in the early 1980's.  We hired Smith Remodeling to do the work.  They had been working on a neighbor's home and I had a chance to see their work and talk to Mark Smith (business owner) and the home owner. I like what I saw and noticed that the crew was punctual, dependable and reliable for several months (large remodeling job). Lisa does the bidding for their company. We met and she really listened to what I wanted done, took pictures and took notes. I explained to her that I was a teacher and I needed the project to be completed before I went back to school in early August. They started the project in mid June, about the 20th just after I got out of school and finished two days before I started back, August 2nd. They worked well with two other contractors (tile man and a cabinet/granite company).

The crew was very responsible, dependable and punctual.  They were very professional and conscientious and always took pride in their work. They arrived at 8 am, took a lunch break and finished up at 4 pm always cleaning up after themselves. They always asked if I had any questions and being a teacher I always had some and they graciously answered all of my questions. They accommodated any of my suggestions and cheerfully completed them.  Whenever I needed to contact Lisa she always responded back to me quickly and followed through on any requests or concerns that I may have had concerning the remodeling project.

"We were very pleased with the services provided by Gilbert Design Build. We wanted to renovate the kitchen and to place an accent wall with electric fireplace and TV in the living room. The project begins with meeting the president and the designer to discuss ideas and samples see if we're all a good fit. The designer and president then visit the house to see the exact spaces to be built or renovated. The project manager then completes measurements and designer orders materials. When all materials are on hand the site manager schedules the professionals in tile, plumbing, electrical, and framing to their dates Each was pleasant, worked with cleanliness, and delivered a great product. Only two glitches occurred in the process: 1. The distance between the TV and the fireplace heater was not sufficient. This took more tiling but was corrected. 2. The pots and pans rack was very noisy. This was corrected with drawers. Overall a very professional job by Gilbert Design and Build."
