Customers say: Super punctual

"Living out of town, finding a trustworthy and reliable cleaning service for my elderly mother’s home felt overwhelming. I turned to Angie’s List because of its strong reputation, and that is when I found Homework’s by Rosy. I am so grateful that I did. Rosy and her team arrived promptly, professionally, and ready to work. I had sent a detailed list of deep cleaning requests ahead of time, and they exceeded my expectations in every way. Their attention to detail and tireless effort truly stood out. Most importantly, my mother, whom I love dearly, was absolutely thrilled to see her home looking so clean and immaculate. Seeing her happiness meant everything to me. I am sincerely thankful to Rosy and her staff for their outstanding work, reliability, and care. I highly recommend Homework’s by Rosy to anyone. Robin S."

"Just had Tom come and clean out our dryer vent today! He said it was really gummed up and there was even a birds nest developing. Got it cleaned out and he even fixed the connection hose. Highly recommend this company!!"

"Great results cleaning the tile grout in my walk in shower and kitchen/entrance hallway. I have used multiple cleaning chemicals and tools to clean the tile grout, but could not do as good a job as APEX did (August 2021). The tile grout was sealed and it looks like it did 6 years ago. I would hire again for future tile/carpet cleaning projects. Thank you!"

"First class company. Rick came out and cleaned our windows, screens, ledges and tracks. He was very careful setting up his equipment not to damage flooring or walls. The windows are sparkling clean and we plan to use them regularly."

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Regular cleaning, promptly repairing minor issues, ensuring proper drainage, and using rust-resistant coatings help prevent recurring damage.

If you wish to forego painting your shingles but still want to give them a fresh look, a deep cleaning is the first step. Clean off any debris from your roof and gutters, and then power wash your shingles to get grime and algae off. To take things one step further, you might even consider installing new gutters to give your home a bright new look.

If you’re painting your home or monitoring a job as it’s being completed, squash the issue ASAP if you notice paint is getting onto the roof. Keeping it clean is one of the keys to extending your roof’s life.

Removing latex paint before it dries is much easier and lowers the risk of damaging your shingles (more on that below). Simply spray the spot with a hose for one to two minutes to clear away the drying paint. In general, this is a good way to remove ugly stains from your roof without using chemicals.

Moss grows in dark areas of roofs, including in corners and gutters. If left alone, it can grow under roofing and cause permanent damage. Here’s how to remove moss from metal roofs

  • Soak the moss to soften it

  • Scrub it away with a soft-bristled brush, or pick it off with your hands (be sure to wear gloves)

  • Use a moss remover that’s compatible with metal roofing, following the manufacturer’s directions

  • Remove dead moss and rinse the roof thoroughly

  • Prevent future moss growth by trimming branches, cleaning gutters, and attaching zinc strips to moss-prone areas

The easiest way to remove snow from a roof involves using a roof rake that allows you to clear snow from the ground. Roof rakes are lightweight and feature adjustable handles, making them user-friendly for most people. This method also helps prevent ice dams and excess snow buildup, reducing the risk of roof damage during winter months.

When should you remove snow from your roof? A good rule of thumb is once six inches of snow accumulates.
