"Jeff was very good in showing the manufacture's merchandise. We selected the awning, size, color, features etc with Jeff's input. I paid 1/2 up front and then waited the 2 weeks for the awning to be manufactured. Sunesta in Jacksonville. Not cheap, but much better than Sunsetter, the Chinese copy.
Jeff installed the awning in a day but made several errors. The worse of which was an improperly-installed mid-span support. It RIPPED the awning after only about 3 retractions. He also forgot to order the hood cover ($750) and the movement switch, which retracts the awning on high winds. They had to be installed later.
To Jeff''s credit, he came out in a couple days to inspect the damage. He dealt with Sunesta and got new fabric installed, after about 2 more weeks. I jumped through a few hoops trying to get the manufacture to "buy off" on the repair, since the mid-span support takes a lot of load. They finally said it was installed correctly after reviewing my videos of the operation. They have a 7 year warranty.
Aside from installing it wrong and missing two critical items I paid for, there were other issues:

• end caps not installed correctly
• I wasn't home and he never instructed my wife how to use the awning - he just left
• the wiring was sloppily run up the side of the house - i had to rerun it professionally.

At this point, we are very satisfied with the purchase. The awning is great and had no more issues. Problem is, shouldn't have had ANY of the issues. And there were many.
