"Excellent service and quality install. Even down to installing the hardware on the cabinet, most companies over drill out the handles and butcher the inside of the drawer or door, but not this company. They definitely take pride and what they do and also provide great communication."

"We had to give them 5stars! We had them doing many different projects. Installing a door for the master bath. Replacing bath vanity which required tile work on floor and backsplash. Painting kitchen cabinets. (Which turned out fantastic) Plus other projects around the house. We found them knowledgeable, reliable and reasonable. Their work is top quality. They take a lot of pride in what they do!! Thanks Gary and Jason"

Cabinet Making questions, answered by experts

Yes, many services include the removal and disposal of old cabinets. Confirm with your contractor.

Yes, you can replace the cabinet hardware after installation to change up the look of your cabinets. Replacing the hinges, handles, pulls, and knobs allows you the design flexibility to match your other appliances or finish schemes to your liking. Talk with your kitchen designer or cabinet installer about the best hardware option for your cabinets.

The 1/3 rule is a design guideline used by interior designers and cabinet installers to select appropriately sized pulls for cabinets and drawers. The rule suggests that for a balanced and cohesive look, a cabinet pull should be approximately one-third the height of the cabinet door or one-third the width of the drawer face. This guideline helps create a symmetrical appearance because the human eye tends to follow the length of the pull across the cabinet face.

While the 1/3 rule is a helpful starting point, it is not the only option. If a measurement falls between available pull sizes, it's generally best to size up. For an ultra-contemporary aesthetic, you can also opt for full-width pulls that span the entire drawer.

If your walls aren’t plumb, it can make installing frameless cabinets difficult because they require precise measurements so they don’t show imperfections. Any dissymmetry with installation can cause the doors and drawers to not function correctly. Frameless cabinets are also thicker and heavier, making them harder to install by yourself.

It’s best to stick with lightweight cabinets, such as medium-density fiberboard, if you don’t have a wall stud to secure them to. Unless you’re attaching the cabinet to a flat board attached to wall studs, it’s best not to risk it with heavy cabinetry or contents. Solid wood cabinets and heavy dishware should be avoided if you cannot secure the cabinet to a wall stud. Either way, always check the weight on your wall anchors and be sure not to exceed it.
