"The company charged $4000 for a pop-up drainage system to prevent flooding in my stand-alone backyard office. When heavy rain came, it was apparent that the system in place was not working, and despite multiple emails, no one responded for six months. When they did, they sent workers out to do the same job that was already done. They also told me that the system in place would not work and should never have been placed and in the end, recommended I hire an irrigation company, stating that they are not an irrigation company and, when asked about a partial refund since the system placed did not work, they refused. In short, I cannot recommend this company. Poor work, poor customer service."

"Alans Construction put a stamped concrete patio in. They ruined the kick plate with the concrete color and refused to pay for it but finally did. The job was done very poorly and sloppy. They didn’t put enough color on the patio nor sealed it. Alan, the owner came back to correct the mess and did not. I have had stamped concrete before and we never needed it touched up or sealed again nor did the color fade. Alan advised me that every 2 months the color has to be added which was just another way of getting money for the poor sloppy job they did on the patio not to mention they ruined our property and said they won’t pay to have it replaced when they ruined our kick plate on the lanai. This company does not know concrete or customer service to make it right."

All the cracks that they didn't grind and fill came back only after a few months now they are worse than ever. "The first red flag is representing himself as Steve Perez on Angi’s list when in fact his name is Ziv. There’s the hard sell and false promises (finish a kitchen remodel in 5-6 weeks) when it took 4 months. Unprofessionalism is an understatement. He communicates through texting like a teenager and screams at the client when in fact errors are his fault or his sub-contractors. We provided appliance specs very early in the process and the electrician still made errors for which Ziv wanted us to pay for. The cabinets delivered were incomplete which he blamed on us. He demanded a final payment and threatened to put a lean on our house when the work was incomplete per the contract. Then Subs starting calling demanding payment which was resolved after we provided cashed checks to Sonart Construction. Don’t believe what I say. Read the BBB review complaints for a well-deserved F rating."
