"Jesse and his group are nice and professional. Even though he was not the least expensive. I believed he would get the job done to me liking. It was a clean out, a messy job, with mouse everywhere. I was surprised just what a good job they did. Jesse will not finish until your satisfied. I highly recommend J&W Irrigation. They'll get the job done. I like that, it's not easy to find today."

"It's hard to find somebody you can trust these days everybody wants a quick buck and do very little, I can't begin to tell you the Contractors who have ripped us off over the last 10 years but every now and then you find one who actually cares and B&M Wells Pumps and irrigation certainly was a Great choice we got lucky. He arrived at the exact time he said he would and called in advance before arrival. He quickly discovered the problem and initiated a plan for repair. He was very methodical when beginning the repair. I noticed he double checked each step and cut no corners. He also maintained a very positive up beat attitude through out the process. Unlike any plumbers we have used in the Baker and surrounding counties he actually was very knowledgeable and knew what he was doing, and was great at explaining well and pump operations. I highly recommend Brandon (B&M Wells, Pumps & irrigation) for your home repair needs. Thank you Home Advisors for the recommendation. Might I also stress to the people PLEASE read the reviews. "They seemed experienced. They did a wonderful job. We were worried they would damage the grass and have to tear up the driveway. They did the work with minimal involvement of surrounding grass and they did the work without damaging the driveway. The price was fair too. It was less than $200."

Lawn Irrigation questions, answered by experts

Yes, but the best approach is to apply fertilizer well before you actually sprinkle the seeds. Apply fertilizer with an NPK ratio somewhere around 10-10-20, or 10-10-10, depending on soil test results and the type of grass you're planting, about six to eight weeks before planting grass seed. This mix added to loosened soil will give the grass seed its best chance of getting off to a solid start.

Because it’s native to the central United States and Canada and is drought-tolerant, it typically is not difficult to grow. It requires very little maintenance and minimal watering beyond rainfall. Its hardy nature and unique look make it a favorite choice among people living in the western United States and other dry regions of the country.

Yes, after the lawn is overseeded post-aeration, most of the seed germinates in the aeration holes. This leaves the soil undisturbed while lush and healthy grass will grow in the holes' place. The point of this is to create extra turf density in areas that really need it, such as a large patch of dead grass where a shed used to be.

Water your yard a little more deeply after a drought for about two weeks (while still avoiding overwatering). Continue to water in the early morning hours before 10 a.m. You'll also want to invest in some high-quality fertilizer to get more nutrients to your roots and help them grow back stronger and quicker. Look up your grass and soil type, or do a soil test, to see what type of fertilizer you need.

You can reseed a lawn that has dead grass, but it is best to remove the dead patches before you begin. Removing the dead turf and testing the soil will help you determine what is killing the grass so you can make the necessary amendments to prevent the problem from recurring. Once you have made the appropriate adjustments, you can rake, fertilize, and reseed. If your lawn has many large dead patches, it may be more effective to remove all the existing grass, amend the soil, and start over from scratch.
