"I highly recommend TLS. They were very professional & best priced out of 3 quotes I received for new insulation in my attic. They showed up on time and completed the work as described. The owner stopped by to check on the job which rarely ever happens with contractors nowadays. I am extremely happy and satisfied with my choice of TLS and their work. Thank you!"
"I am a very picky person when it comes to getting work done for my house but one thing I can say is that I don’t regret hiring Jays Prestige Insulation LLC and I am not going anywhere else very professional and got the work done!! Thank you so much"
"Not only does the roof look gorgeous it's efficient and quiet! It reduced our electric bill along with being cooler, it much quieter. We went with the insulated metal roofing system, which we would recommend, it takes a bit longer and it's more costly but worth the time and money. Frank and his team are friendly, straight forward, and easy to work with. They were efficient and clean, our neighbors even commented how much they appreciated how well they cleaned up each day to keep our road and driveway clear. We would highly recommend them for any roofing job!"
"The recommendations for improving efficiency were appreciated, but the quote for cost would not have paid off if we lived in the house for 20+ years. We were able to fix a leaky window ourselves for less than $20. The attic insulation improvement cost was beyond our price range. This is not the company's fault per se. We did not price these services with anyone else. But the claim that these changes would pay for themselves in energy bill reduction didn't make any sense. We would have to literally have no energy bill for 10 years to pay for the full upgrades. The representative sent over was professional and courteous, and the company itself has given us no issues. "
"Our AC went out in the heat of July. They were out the same day and charged the system. After a day, it was down again. We ordered a new system. They were out everyday to charge the system so we wouldn't boil, until a new coil came in, at no charge.. They installed the coil as a substitute coil for the leaky one as a stopgap until out system came in, at no charge. After installation, they made two more trips to make sure the system was working properly. Alex and his team were professional in every way."

"We had a leak in our 12 year old water heater so had Your Home Services come out to take a look. It was leaking all over the place so they advised we replace with a new unit. Everything went smooth, great service all around and a pretty quick install. It happened on New Year's Eve so we had to wait until after the holiday, but that's totally understandable. All around happy with the work and will use them again for future plumbing (and A/C) needs."
"Outstanding work! I was under insulated in my attic, which I had no idea of but not only that I had mice!Edward was informative about what I needed done and the health risk it can cause. Show up on time job was done in a day I could move more satisfied. I recommend CritterX, and will be tell my friends !"
"The space now is fully cooled without overworking any of the units. Very professional and quick turnaround. Nikolas always responded with rapid and helpful information on this project. Will definitely be using again for future projects."
Cellulose insulation is usually made from recycled paper products, such as old newspapers, but cellulose might also contain recycled denim. While most homeowners traditionally buy cellulose insulation to use for installation, it is possible to make your own at home with old newspapers, cardboard, a paper shredder, and boric acid (important for fireproofing your cellulose insulation materials).
While a few icicles on your roof are standard, a large accumulation can be a sign of a bigger problem, such as poor insulation. This is particularly true if you are also dealing with ice dams. If you have numerous large icicles, it is recommended to have a roofing contractor diagnose potential insulation issues and create a plan to solve them.
Insulation provides additional protection for your tankless water heater. Even if the unit is installed inside the house, it’s still a good idea to wrap the unit up with insulation batts, especially if you live in cold climates. For outdoor units, you can build an insulated box around the tankless water heater for freeze protection.
Yes, insulating your cold water pipes is a great way to prevent condensation. When warm, humid air meets cold pipes, condensation forms, which can drip and cause moisture issues in your home. Pipe insulation acts as a barrier between the warm air and the cold pipes, keeping condensation at bay and helping you avoid potential problems like mold or structural damage.
Reflective and high R-value batt or roll insulation are often considered energy-efficient, offering significant thermal resistance benefits.
