"The shower, vanity, mirror, floor are perfect, I did tell the sales person Anthony I needed chair hight toilet as I have an elderly aunt here, but I got standard instead. I had to go out and purchase a light fixture as that wasn't included, the walls are undone, for $25,000 I expected my bathroom to be remodeled o Not just an install, I feel like I've been robbed, in addition to that I see the company has 50% off installation."

"From beginning to end, we were extremely pleased with AllPro. Juan Lupido and his team did an incredible job retiling our entire house. They arrived promptly every morning, worked hard all day and cleaned up before leaving every evening. They were courteous, discreet, efficient and very pleasant to be around. These professionals know what they are doing and above all, are honest and competitively priced. We will rehire them soon to tackle our old terrazzo floors. Whatever your needs are, I highly recommend AllPro. You will not be disappointed. Thank you AllPro."

Small jobs welcome

"I couldn’t be happier with the epoxy flooring I had done in my garage! The crew was professional, on time, and really paid attention to the details. The finish came out flawless — smooth, glossy, and exactly the color and texture I wanted. It completely transformed the look of my garage and makes it feel brand new. Highly recommend this company to anyone looking for quality work and a long-lasting, beautiful floor!"

"Edward Ryan worked with us every step of the way... he helped us get the designs and permits and did a large amount of the work himself. He has a great work ethic and kept everything moving forward. The subcontractors he did use were very professional. They did such a great job that you would have a hard time figuring out where the addition was put on if you didn't know where to look. I fully intend to use him again for home renovations we have planned."

Flooring Installation questions, answered by experts

In most cases, you do not need to put padding or underlayment under carpet tiles. Unlike traditional carpet, which requires a separate pad, carpet tiles are designed to be installed directly onto a firm subfloor like plywood, concrete, or tile. Many carpet tiles come with a built-in underlay and attach with peel-and-stick adhesive, double-sided carpet tape, or glue. For a more comfortable, cushioned feel, especially in residential settings, you can opt for padded carpet tiles that have a thicker underlay attached. While it's generally not recommended to install a separate pad, a compact underlayment might be used in some situations, though this typically requires professional installation. An acoustic underlay may also be considered in commercial spaces or multi-level homes where noise reduction is a priority.

Laminate flooring takes about 24 to 48  hours to settle. Before this, planks are not completely acclimated to your home, and walking on them could cause shifting and permanent damage to the flooring. You should allow floorboards to acclimate for 48 to 72 hours before installing so that they can adjust to your home’s humidity and temperature levels, but they will continue to acclimate and settle after installation. For this reason, avoid placing any furniture in the room for 72 hours after installation.

Your floors will continue to settle for a few months after installation, becoming less bouncy as they rest.

There are a couple of color options to consider when installing carpet in high-traffic areas (like entrances and stairways). Medium-toned colors and patterned carpets can work well in these parts of your home because dirt and stains can blend in easily. Dark carpets will also conceal marks and spills, but they show lint and other light-colored debris. Consider a medium brown or tan for your high-traffic areas. Either way, it’s best to avoid paler shades, like white and cream, which get dirty easily.

Avoid placing carpet in the bathroom or the kitchen. After all, moisture is no friend to carpeting. Beyond that, it’s down to personal preference. Some people dislike when a garage or basement features carpet, but others enjoy it.

Pergo flooring is waterproof, right down to the bevels. The company claims that the material has a 100% watertight surface. Of course, this depends on how expertly the flooring was installed, so make sure to do some research before choosing an installation pro.
