"We had extensive subsidence on our driveway and several slabs had cracks. The estimator came on time, was professional, described the process, made appropriate measurements, took photos and promised an estimate by email. The estimate arrived 48 hours later and was right in line with others we received but much less than re-pouring the driveway. We approved the job and set a date for it's initiation in about one weeks time. They showed up right on time and commenced work. What was thought to be a 3-4 hour job eventually took 8 hours. No complaints from the contractor. The driveway was level, not perfect, but better than I had hoped for. I ground the uneven cracks myself and filled them with fast-set concrete. The driveway looks almost like new. We're happy so far. Time will tell how permanent the fix is."

"The project got off to a bad start because the first crew didn't seem prepared for the size or scope of the job and said they needed to talk to their project manager who was out of the office. The job was supposed to start on a Tuesday but didn't start till Friday which cost me a couple extra nights in a hotel. Once the new crew started the project progressed quickly and they worked over the weekend to try and recover some time."

"We agreed on what would be done. Mr. Fosgate provided a colored drawing of the landscape plans which was very nice and fit the layout of the house. Nice trees,flowering plants and bromeliads. Beautiful design...very pleased with his skills, and he was very pleasant and easy to get along with in person. It was very difficult to get a response. I received no prior warning of when the landscape crew would come to clear the front. They just appeared with equipment.It was over a month before they came back to do the landscape and actually lay the plants down. They just appeared one evening with plants and rocks. I had a scheduled event to attend and had to leave them to complete the job since I would be home late. On my way out, Mr. Fosgate requested the balance of the payment which I gave. Pleasant surprise...the landscape looked beautiful and a sprinkler was rigged up to water since the sprinler system at the new residence was not functional. That was appreciated. We had agreed on eliminating a few plant items, but I noticed that the important rock formation was incomplete. After leaving several emails for Weeks with no response Ed finally responded that he was traveling an had computer problems bot would check on the rock situation and the dying zoysia grass despite watering every other dayand the daily July rain. I have been extremely patient knowing that Mr. Fosgate is very knowledgable and a creative landscaper, but this level of customer service is beyond any level of acceptability. After this project I am a disappointed customer who had made every effort to give this company the benefit of the doubt.The landscape was done on June 14th. I am providing this review on August 19th...and I have not seen or heard from Mr Fosgate...sorry to say. Such a shame when the follow up and customer service is what makes happy repeat clients who provide numerous recommendations for service.
