"My friend recommended Angel and I asked him to fix my fence, pressure washing and other miscellaneous backyard work. Angel is very professional handyman. He came to estimate first and finished the work promptly and nicely. The work is high quality and the total price is under my budget."

"I have known Steve for over 20 years, and have employed him multiple times throughout the years, from fixing my sprinkler system to remodeling my kitchen! He is currently painting the exterior of my home. What a beautiful job he and Andre are doing! He has always proven to be professional, meticulous, and always goes above and beyond! THANK YOU always!"

"Eduardo built two bracket and board shelving units in my garage. As I had only a vague idea of what I wanted, he did several measurements till I was satisfied with placement. Knowing the price of wood is high, I wasn’t sure what material to use. When he went to buy the material, he called me from the store, giving me the price quotes on two types of shelving. I went with the more budget -friendly one as he suggested. Eduardo had the shelving painted, labor free. He also removed three wall fans in the garage and utility room and replaced two of them. He did an excellent job of filling in the holes everywhere. I could not see where the holes had been. He is friendly, pleasant to work with, and I will be using him again in the future."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

Whether your homeowners insurance covers a pool leak depends on your specific policy, so it's essential to check your policy documents before taking on any repairs. Typically, leaks caused by a covered event, such as a fallen tree branch or a fire, may be covered. However, leaks resulting from general wear and tear or poor maintenance are usually not. It is also a good practice to review your homeowners insurance policy before installing a pool to fully understand your personal liability and coverage.

Chlorine performs several functions, depending on where and how you use it. In drinking water, chlorine in small amounts kills potentially harmful bacteria. It's also a common ingredient in detergents for its whitening properties. Most people associate the chemical with pool use, where it works to kill and control bacteria, germs, and viruses in the water.

Size is the main difference between a pool and a spool. Spools are typically about half the size of an average pool, so they’re ideal for yards without the space for a full-sized pool. Spools are also easier to heat, so they tend to be a higher temperature than pools and can be adjusted to get as hot as a spa when it’s time for a relaxing soak. Spools also contain jets and blowers, while most pools do not.

There are several affordable ways to chill your pool. A pool cover can help prevent the temperature of your pool from rising during the sun. You can also run your filter at night to help aerate the water. The next most wallet-friendly option is a DIY pool chiller or fountain that uses evaporation to cool your pool.

A black tarp will indeed heat your pool. Black absorbs more heat than other colors. This heat will transfer down to the water in your pool and help increase the temperature. It will not be extremely effective at raising the overall temperature, but it can help maintain the current temperature.
