He was great. The garage floor, it was dirty and I thought I needed a new floor but after they came and he stripped and waxed our floor, it looked like it was brand new. He did such as excellent job and it's very impossible to find someone to strip and wax a garage floor. He made it looked like brand new. It wasn't expensive at all. Everybody was trying to push me to rip it up and reconstruct which is unnecessary. All it needed was to be stripped and waxed, and nowadays a lot of companies don't do that anymore, they just replace the floor. He's worked in the industry for years and he does commercial floors, so he goes to offices and their floors, he's certainly very good. He was kind enough to do residential for me and I chose him for that reason and he showed his resume, he's a very nice, courteous gentleman. He and his assistant did a marvelous job and they even moved the furniture that I had in the garage. I have some stuff in the garage and they moved it all, they did the floor, the came back after the floor dried and moved the furniture back in. In another year, if I feel I need any more of that then he's the only person I'd call.

Lamar Cleaning Services stripped and waxed my garage floor. I didn't have to get a new one.

What I found out after the fact that he had asked his Relative (Vice-President) if he could do this job for me. He asked a friend of his to help him and on the day it fell through and he had to do the job by himself. More remarkable was that he did this as a personal favor to me on his day off. Although the form insist for an amount of the carpet cleaning - he did not charge me anything. My daughter insisted on paying him something but he said and quot;no.and quot; She slipped the $25.00 in one of the pouches. We were so appreciative to him. I have since sent him a personal and quot;thank youand quot; note hoping that his kindness and thoughtfulness will be and quot;paid forwardand quot; for him and the family business. Knowing that he is part of that family - I can almost guarantee that the whole family and the Lamar Cleaning Services are of the same cloth. The Church and the School has had the Lamar Cleaning Services doing their cleaning and that says volumes. The Lamar Cleaning Services are Licensed and Insured. Some years ago I never thought a few kindnesses that I given to him just by listening and steering him in the right direction would end up giving me this gift in my time of need.
Description of Work
Due to the economy and being a senior with disabilities it is easy for people to take advantage of me. It happens all the time. The Lamar Cleaning Services (Vice President - Enzo Zapata) was known to me because one of the employees had been a neighbor of mine in the past. I had remembered that he worked for the company and I was able to contact him through a telephone # I had and it made me even more comfortable because they worked for the Church and School. Although he was extremely busy he not only contacted me but came over. I had explained that with my health issues (one being COPD) I was not able to do my carpets and I had had bad experiences in the past with Companies doing a poor job and also charging me too much. He assured me that he would help me and we set up a time and date. Through our conversation I felt comfortable enough to know he would not charge me too much. He not only did a fantastic job but was very professional even though we had known each other on a personal level. Before the job was completed my daughter (who also knew him) asked if he could do her children's carpets. We live almost next door to one another. He did hers and she also was extremely pleased especially because she lived on a 2nd floor and it much more difficult for him to climb up with all his equipment. He did it without a complaint.
