"Amazing !!!! I had roof rats and I found what this company offered to be brillant! The owner Paul came within a day and assessed what he felt would be a good solution. His knowledge , experience and service was beyond expectations! . He did not just get rid of the rodents like normal pest control does, only for more to return again. He sealed all the entries to keep them out. Totally effective and successful! He guarantees his work and worth every penny. I found this company's integrity and professionalism excellent. I would highly recommend his services. Thank you ,"

"We had a swarm of bees entering our office building around a window frame. James was very thorough examining the problem. He explained what he did, what we should expect for a day or two, and to call him if the problem continued. James called us twice to see if he needed to come back out. The bees did exactly what he said they would do and within two days they were gone. We would definitely use them again."

"Chuck sure knows his stuff...learned the business from his dad as a kid and has been doing it ever since. He explained very thoroughly what he and his team would do, which they did. They will come later to set traps to get the renegade ground squirrels that have been making Swiss cheese of my lawn. Although there are still a couple chipmunks, the population in my yards has diminshed."

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

Some of the plants listed above, like daffodils, are poisonous to many animals if eaten. But wild animals instinctively avoid them, for the most part. Household pets don’t always have the same survival instinct, which is why it’s a good idea to familiarize yourself with common plants that pose a danger to cats and dogs.

Hawks might seem like fearless predators, but these smart birds do know what other animals to be cautious around. Hawks are naturally wary of humans and predators that see them or their eggs as a potential meal or threat. This list includes owls, crows, eagles, and even snakes or raccoons.

High-frequency bird repellent devices are effective at driving away birds, which is their intended purpose. However, these devices also tend to have unintended negative consequences. For example, if you or your neighbors own pets, the high-pitched noise emitted by these electronic devices will cause them distress and may even make them aggressive.

The cost of pest control services depends on various factors, but the average homeowner pays around $175, with a typical range of $100 to $500. Your final cost will be influenced by the type of pest, the size and severity of the infestation, and the number of treatments needed.

Service costs also vary by frequency:

  • One-time service: $300–$550

  • Initial visit for ongoing service: $150–$300

  • Monthly visits: $40–$70

  • Quarterly visits: $100–$300

  • Annual visits: $300–$550

For specific pest examples, getting rid of spiders typically costs between $100 and $300, whereas a termite infestation can cost from $230 to $2,500 or more, depending on the extent of the damage.

It can be difficult to know what type of animal is in your attic until you see it. But several clues can help you narrow down the suspects:

  • Sounds: Smaller animals like rats and mice make scurrying and tapping/gnawing sounds. Larger animals like raccoons and opossums make louder clambering noises. Also, note when animals are noisy: Squirrels are active during the day, while rats are busiest at night.

  • Droppings: Rats and mice leave small, rice-shaped droppings (the rat’s version is significantly larger). Bigger droppings belong to larger critters like raccoons. As long as you’re not squeamish, an image search can help you identify what you’re seeing in your attic.

When in doubt, take photos of damage or other evidence and show them to an experienced pest control pro.
