"WARNING: DAN IS THE BIGGEST LIAR, HE WILL PROMISE ANYTHING UNTIL HE GETS THE MONEY. We hired DANN FROM PREFERRED POOL AND PAVERS (PPP) to install a paver driveway and walkways to the front of our house and the backyard. Within a month we started experiencing problems with the installation and the quality of the pavers. 1) The pavers we ordered are called MEGA SMOOTH. We have pictures of the driveway that show how NOT SMOOTH, uneven the pavers were installed; 2) The aggregate in the pavers is popping out causing holes and the pavers are degrading, 3) The pavers are moving and separating causing large gaps, 4) 2 types of pavers, "Mega Smooth" and Mega Stone" were intermixed in the installation. We were told the difference in the pavers was Mega Smooth is a 3 piece paver and Mega Stone is a 2 pc paver. This is not true, the shape/texture is very different. PPP made several unsuccessful attempts to repair the problems. New pavers were ordered to replace defective pavers, but PPP, nor the factory, could communicate what the quality standard is for the pavers to determine which pavers would be replaced from a factory defect. Also, when the first pallet of replacement pavers arrived, it was the wrong color. PPP disappeared after this. Finally, the pavers were never sealed. I BELIEVE IN KARMA AND I KNOW WHAT YOU GIVE ALWAYS COMES BACK. DAN YOU STOLE MY $20000. HERE ARE A FEW OF MANY PICTURES OF WHAT I MENTIONED ABOVE. THESE ARE 2 MONTHS AFTER THE INSTALLATION AND YOU HAVE SEEN THIS FIRST HAND. THEY WOULD BE PERFECT FOR YOUR WEBSITE SO EVERY ONE CAN SEE YOUR HORRIBLE WORK. DAN ENJOY MY $20000 UNTIL KARMA HITS."

Estimates for work are always free of cost, and potential customers will always work with Mark or Lisa directly. Smith Remodeling is licensed and insured for interior renovations including: tile installation, cabinetry installation, carpentry, painting, drywall repairs and installation, door installation, flooring, general repairs. When other services such as plumbing and electrical are required, the proper licensed contractors will perform those services and pull the necessary permits.

Lisa coordinates and schedules them all. Once work began, Lisa was in steady communication via text, email or phone. She sent photos almost every day. If she had a question, she consulted us before proceeding. If we had questions, she answered them promptly. The job was done in less than a month. The results were beautiful. He said they wouldn’t start a second job until ours was finished, either he or his partner would be there every day, and how they wouldn’t leave until we were satisfied with everything. None of those things happened. The job was scheduled to go for 10 days. The three-person crew that started were great. Then Tim started pushing us to remodel the kitchen, or our second bathroom. I told him no. That is when everything changed. The next day we had a one man crew. Everything turned into an argument. Tim refused to install baseboards in the bathroom, even though they had removed them, or rebuilt the walls. Tim said it wasn't in the contract so he wasn't doing it unless I paid more. I will admit that baseboards are not mentioned in the contract. Neither is caulking, drywall texture, or painting. All of which they did without question."
