"They came out for the estimate, were on time. Looked at my attic, let me know there were no problems with my ducting before blowing in insulation. When they came for blowing in the insulation, they came on time and cleaned up afterwords. Great Job. Would recommend them."

"Keith and his team did a fantastic job. I had the thermal barrier put up in the attic and more insulation blown in as well as two solar gable fans. Had to wait a little for the fans to come in because it's not a popular item installed but I could tell the difference in the house already before the fans were added. It was well worth the investment."

"I had an appointment to get my garage door insulated and insulation blown in my attic. Chris and his crew showed up before the appointment time and got straight to work. Very professional and the work was amazing. The temperature on the inside of my garage door averages 115 degrees. After Chris worked his magic, the temperature dropped to 86 degrees. I had a 29 degree difference in temperature on my garage door. I had a 19 degree difference in my garage ceiling as well with blown in insulation added. Definitely recommend this company. Thank you!"

Drywall Insulation questions, answered by experts

The best way to make long, straight cuts is to use a utility knife and a T-square to score the sheet, snap along the score, and then finish the cut by cutting through the paper on the opposite side with the utility knife. If you’re making small cuts, curved cuts, or cutouts for electrical boxes or light fixtures, you can use a manual jab saw to keep costs down, but an electric spiral saw or oscillating multi-tool will get the cleanest, fastest cuts possible.

Yes, a one-story house can have a load-bearing wall. The load-bearing walls in a single-story home are usually the exterior walls. If the house has a basement with exposed walls, the arrangement of the beams can help indicate what walls are load-bearing.

If your premixed drywall mud is dried out or has begun to set in the bucket, you may be able to revive it by adding warm water and stirring. However, the first and most important step is to scrape off any hard, dried bits of drywall that may have accumulated toward the top of the container and throw them away because they will not easily reconstitute back into the drywall mud mix.

Whether you need drywall anchors depends on your specific project, particularly where you are hanging an item. Drywall anchors are not necessary if you can drive a screw directly into a wooden stud behind the wall, as the stud provides sufficient support. However, since studs are not present everywhere in a wall, you will need to use drywall anchors if you are hanging an object in a location without a stud. For very lightweight items, picture hanging strips can also be a suitable alternative.

To maintain plaster walls, inspect them regularly for cracks and seal them early. Clean the walls by dusting regularly or using a gentle, damp cloth. It's also important to avoid moisture exposure. Repainting as needed will help maintain the wall's appearance and longevity.
