"I have used One Hour AC for the past three years. They have always been superb both quality of the work and customer service. This last time the technician tried to sell me a complete duct system replacement and an expanded return duct due to insufficient air flow and possible mold/fungus His price for the above was $13,000. I asked for just duct cleaning and it was over $8000. I finally asked for return duct expansion costs and it was approximately $2000. Told him I was going for a second opinion. Bottom line, I only marginally needed duct cleaning. There was no mold or fungus. Total cost $495. The company spent 10 hours cleaning and sanitizing the ducts and vents. Before this event I would have highly recommended them and still do but don’t allow yourself to be sucked in into buying anything without a second or third opinion.show more

"Cecil and Don were both excellent! They were on time, and did everything they could to try to fix my aging HVAC system. Only once all options were exhausted did we finally opt to install a new system instead of dumping money into the old one. I called around and got half a dozen quotes, and AC by DC was by far the best both in price and equipment. The installation work was also very high quality, and professional. I was so impressed I told my father and he also had an entire system installed by them. My father is an HVAC guy and watched them every step of the way and commented to me about how they do everything exactly right. He also had gotten several quotes previously and AC by DC was the best price for high quality equipment. If you need HVAC help, and don't want to worry about being scammed or sold something you don't need, definitely give them a call!show more
