"I found italconstruction online to remodel my house, i saw good reviews so i decided to call them, in miami is difficult to find good construction companies, about 3 years ago i give a deposit to a different company to start a project at my previous apartment and the guy just stole my money ,they never show up. With ItalconstructionI didn't have a bad experience like in the past, those guys finished the job on time, they always answer the phone, and i was surprised because after 2 months they finished the job i decided to change the position of bathroom's mirror, i called them to help me and the guy come, he didn't charge me anything, i guess they just like to have a good reputation to get referrals but i appreciated the gesture, i recommend them 100%."

"Working with this team on both a boat dock inside the home project, I found them extremely professional from the office staff/ workers project leader. They took all the time I needed to fully explain my ideas and then they made several additional recommendations (not in a pushy way) to consider to help ensure the final project was all that I expected. As the project progressed I always felt I was being updated and fully understanding each step. In many projects, unexpected issues sometimes arise but Richard took the time to explain them and let me so I could make any changes I felt were needed or could wait until another project. In the end, everything was far beyond my expectations and within budget. I fully plan to use them again have highly recommended them to all my friends and to you this review reader also."

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can finance cottage construction through several options. Construction loans provide funds in stages as work progresses, while home equity loans or lines of credit are available if you have existing property. Some lenders offer a combined construction and permanent mortgage. Always review loan terms and payment milestones before committing.

Mid-century modern architecture was a popular home style throughout the U.S. from the 1950s to 1970s. Most homes feature a wide and symmetrical floor plan with low-sloped roofs and floor-to-ceiling windows. Its minimalism and balanced appearance are back on the home style scene, particularly when maximizing sunlight, airflow, and a blend with the home's natural surroundings.

Building permits serve a few purposes, the most important of which is to keep you and the people around you safe by ensuring your contractor does work safely and to code. Permits also help your municipality tax your property appropriately, as taxes are based on land improvements and the upgrades you make to your home. Finally, permits ensure your project won’t have a negative impact on the environment or your neighbors.

Builder-grade is one of two types of stock cabinets, whereas semi-custom designs allow homeowners some control over the color, finish, or hardware on their cabinets. Stock cabinets are sold in construction-grade and builder-grade designs. Construction-grade cabinets are usually made from inexpensive medium-density fiberboard, which is prone to moisture damage, whereas builder-grade models are a step up with higher-quality materials. Construction-grade designs are the most common type of cabinets in America.

British architect John Nash is credited with creating the Italianate style of architecture. The style was further popularized in the U.S. by landscape architect Andrew Jackson Downing and architect Calvert Vaux. The style spread across the U.S. due to Downing’s popular book on the style and the availability of plans and materials due to the mass production of the Industrial Revolution.
