"We found evidence of termite infestation. They responded quickly and inspected property the following day. Price was reasonable and employee was knowledgeable. "They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

DIY treatments may help minor issues, but professionals provide long-term solutions and prevent recurrence.

DIY treatments exist, but professional extermination is recommended for thorough elimination and prevention.

If you’re wondering whether silverfish can fly, they can’t—they don’t have wings. Instead, they wriggle their bodies and move quickly in a fish-like motion, hence their name. Despite their speed, they are limited to crawling along floors, walls, and ceilings. Silverfish are known for their agility and ability to hide in small cracks and crevices, but they cannot jump or fly.

No; ticks rarely infest buildings. They prefer to stay outdoors waiting for a potential host to pass by. However, while ticks do not infest beds, they can get indoors by attaching themselves to pets, clothing, or outdoor gear. A live tick may survive in your bed for around 24 hours, but it certainly won’t breed or start an infestation.

While carpet beetles won’t bite you like bed bugs do, they still aren’t pests you’d want to find in your home. Carpet beetles in their larva stage can be voracious and cause a lot of damage as they eat through fabrics on furniture, clothing, bedding, rugs, and other materials. If you see carpet beetles, you’ll want to have an exterminator come by to assess the damage and control the infestation.
