"I contacted and researched several painters for Interior painting estimates. Lewis came the same day I called to give us his bid. His initial estimate was $1150, but our total cost came out to be $1345 because we added a hallway and chose to go with Sherwin Williams paint. His estimate was fair and very affordable based on the other estimates we received which ranged between $1200-$2600. He was also more than willing to come on the weekend at no extra charge. The other painters told us that the work would be done during the week and it would be extra for weekend work. Once we chose colors, Lewis came to see where paint colors would go and to figure out how much paint we would need. We signed a contract with exactly what was going to be painted and specifically what brand of paint we wanted. We were also given a receipt for materials deposit and again after the final payment. Overall we are thrilled with the work they did. Lewis paid attention to the details of straight lines, filling in holes, taking specks off the walls, and cleaning up minor paint drips. They worked 2 full days and worked hard to get the job finished. We will definitely keep Lewis in mind for future jobs and for recommendations.

When the day came to do the repair he got here on time unlike most companies, and did an outstanding job with my chimney repairs. "They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."

Chimney Liner Installation questions, answered by experts

Costs depend on pool size, equipment, and any additional tasks like repairs or deep cleaning.

A pool remodel can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months, with a typical project often lasting between four and eight weeks. The final timeline can vary significantly depending on several factors, including the project's scope, the size of your pool, the complexity of the renovations, design inclusions, the availability of materials, your pool remodeler’s schedule, and weather conditions.

You can find pool patches that advertise a quick curing time if you’re in a hurry (about three to four hours.) However, it’s best to let the area cure for about 24 hours before jumping back into your pool. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions that come with your patch.

While you can perform some repairs to a pool liner without draining the pool, you’ll need to empty it to remove the old liner and install a new one. Since most pools don’t have a main drain, you’ll need to use a submersible pump or pool cover pump to drain the water. If you are installing a new liner, be sure to assess and repair the pool walls and floor to ensure a good installation for the new liner.

Pool repair costs come in all shapes and sizes, just like pools. Understanding the potential costs involved in repairing a pool can help you prepare your budget appropriately. Some of the most common pool repairs include:

  • Draining, refilling, and fixing leaks: $520–$4,060

  • Repairing the filter pump motor: $50–$300

  • Repairing the skimmer: $50–$300

  • Pump replacement: $700–$1,300

  • Drain repair: $400–$700

  • Beam crack repair: $75 per linear foot

  • Heater repair: $160–$730
