"Chris has done two jobs in 2025, the first was a sink install to which another Company wanted $1,200.00, Chris completed the job for about 1/3 the price. Today we had a clogged toilet which was back washing into the shower and sink. Chris came on his day off and fixed the problem utilizing a pipe camera. Wonderful results on both jobs, this guy is our go to plumber and is highly recommended."

"It went very well. Dave came to install the toilet, but it arrived broken, so I had to have him come back again when the replacement toilet came. The company that delivered the toilet was not associated with Aces. But Joanne at Aces handled the rescheduling with no problem. The installation went perfectly and Dave did an excellent job. I am very happy with their service and would rehire them if I needed other plumbing work."

"Joshua showed up right on schedule and after an hour of his determination and reassurance (I was a nervous wreck!) He was successful in finding a small crack in the skimmer and a large leak in the main drain. Better yet--when i asked 'how much' he told me it was inclusive with his initial price!! Joshua became my instant hero!! I expected the absolute worst and got the best all the way around!! Better yet we got a 60 day guarantee and a super repair job!! I'm just delighted! They are the absolute most honest team ever and i couldn't be happier that i found them!!! They know they're stuff and Joshua came equipped to find and repair my problem no matter what and he did just that!!! I will never lose their number!! I just can't thank them enough!!"

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

As a preventative measure, hydro jetting should be done every one to two years. However, the best practice is to hydro jet your sewer line once per year. The ideal frequency depends on several factors, including the age and condition of your pipes, how prone they are to clogging, how often the sewer line is used, and the type of waste disposed of in the system. If you frequently experience clogs or are unsure, it's best to ask a licensed plumber for a recommendation specific to your plumbing system.

It is okay to use a drain auger on a toilet, just make sure you are using the correct tip size. The auger is a plumbing snake with a protective sleeve to protect the porcelain toilet bowl from getting scratched. Using too large of an auger can cause the snake to loop back and damage the inside of the drain and plumbing.

Air gaps get clogged by a few different means. Over time, food and grime can collect in the air gap, leading to a blockage. Mineral deposits from hard water are a common problem. Mineral buildup creates a film in the air gap and tubing, which can cause flow issues, as well as attract debris. Homeowners with hard water may want to remove mineral deposits regularly to keep the air gap clean and clear.

No. You should dispose of all oil-based finishing products through a local hazardous waste program. Not only can oil-based finishes be hazardous for the environment if disposed of in the sink, but they can cause clogs in your pipes and stop up your drains. Most municipal garbage or waste disposal companies have a specific location or pick-up schedule for hazardous materials, so that’s your best bet to get rid of excess finishing products.

It’ll take 20 to 30 minutes to unclog a sewer line using a drain snake or drain cleaner. If you hire a professional, you should expect them to be on-site for three hours or less. In addition to clearing the clog, they’ll do other routine inspections, which adds to the overall time (and cost) required.
