Estimates for work are always free of cost, and potential customers will always work with Mark or Lisa directly. Smith Remodeling is licensed and insured for interior renovations including: tile installation, cabinetry installation, carpentry, painting, drywall repairs and installation, door installation, flooring, general repairs. When other services such as plumbing and electrical are required, the proper licensed contractors will perform those services and pull the necessary permits.

"They definitely are NOT construction people. Had a list of 12 things to be done for supposedly $2100.00. They never completed but one and charged $3,090.00. Never cleaned up after themselves. Paneling thickness was mismatched; window trim liked 1/4 inch being flush with wall; stapled paneling and the staples stuck out 1/8 inch. Very sloppy work. Sanded on concrete floor three days and it did not need to be sanded at all. Previous carpenters knew I was going to put down a vinyl floating floor so they started spreading compound for the same. I told Forrest Co. I was going to install a floating floor, so the rest of the concrete needed to have the compound spread because the first contractors did not finish the job. Because I had purchased the wrong tiles (adhesive-backed) Forrest and crew sanded for three days the compound for a floating floor, not covering computers, furniture, or anything getting compound dust in the computers and all over everything. Then they took the sander bag out and emptied it in the middle of the yard instead of in a bag for the trash. IF they had listened when I told them I was installing a floating floor, they would have known it was the right compound. I am an 80-year-old widow and at the time, I was unable to walk due to a herniated disk pinching two nerves. From Apr. 2, 2020 until May 20, 2020, I could not follow them around to check their work. They never did discuss with me how I wanted to do anything and did not pay any attention to the list that they had agreed to do for $2100.00. Besides not doing the work, they charged me an extra $990.00 for items on the contracted list. I tried to get their license number, but Mr. Forrest would not divulge that information. I sent emails letting him know how dissatisfied I was with their work, but I have heard nothing back since April 19, 2020."
