"When the job was finished, i did not have the opportunity to inspect the shower nor receive the brochure on the Delta Showerhead. I requested several times so as to familiar myself in using the Showerhead to the maximum potential. I also noted that I needed a technician as there were leaks at the joint to the wall and the showerhead. Instead of Mario , an associate came to the apartment to repair and fix the showerhead. I understand that this was part of the initial installation and I am not complaining. I am just stating the process. One suggestion is to reinforce the floor and maybe create an angle to allow the water to better exit to the drain. Thank you very much to present this evaluation."

"It went great! They responded to my email within 24 hours and scheduled an appointment within 3 business days on a day and time of my choosing. The Leak Specialist arrived promptly, was very pleasant and helpful. He quickly identified the problem and showed me photos of the damage. He described how the leak could be resolved, made recommendations for preventive measures. He had to go into the wall to identify the source of the leak and was very sensitive to potential damage, discussed options with me, etc. He also cleaned up the work area upon completion!
I would highly recommend this company to identify the source of water leaks! Very professional, very pleasant to deal with. I especially appreciated the brainstorming about remediation and options for making the necessary repairs.

Drain Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Main sewer lines can clog for several reasons. For example, if you regularly dump oil or grease down your drain, it could eventually block your line. Sometimes, tree roots can penetrate and grow inside old sewer pipes, creating a major blockage. Flushing bulky items (like paper towels, diapers, or baby wipes) can also clog your plumbing system.

It is okay to use a drain auger on a toilet, just make sure you are using the correct tip size. The auger is a plumbing snake with a protective sleeve to protect the porcelain toilet bowl from getting scratched. Using too large of an auger can cause the snake to loop back and damage the inside of the drain and plumbing.

A good option for opening up and cleaning a sink drain is to use a ¼ cup of baking soda and 1 cup of white vinegar, along with a rubber stopper to cover the drain while those materials work their magic. After about 15 minutes, you can flush the drain with hot water. In many cases, these materials can scrub out minor clogs and get the drain working properly again. If the issue persists, call in a plumber near you to get the problem permanently fixed.

Keep your egress window from flooding by ensuring that the drainage system in the window well is clear and in good working condition. Inspect the window well every few months to remove any blockages and test the drainage system. It’s better to discover potential problems before your window well fills with water during heavy rain.

Drain pipes carry wastewater from sinks, toilets, showers, and other fixtures to the main sewer line. They’re typically located within the walls and floors and beneath a home’s foundation. Meanwhile, sewer pipes transport collected wastewater to a septic tank or a municipal sewer system.
