"I must say owner was very much professional, polite, courtesy , customer service, and he was very detailed about what service I had wanted when I talk to him over the phone. When talking to him he asked me several question about my fireplace. I could only told him what I had know. I just bought this home. Upon arriving at my house he right off hand could have told me what kind of fireplace it was and the name. How he heard love that make and model knowing they don't make that one anymore. He let me know it was still in awesome condition knowing the year of the house. While cleaning the fireplace he was letting me know right off hand what he was doing step by step. He had a smile the whole entire time working and well polite and respectful. He asked coming into my home if he need to take off he shoes at the door , I told him he was fine. I had plastic down and he came with all of his supply and he also cover the floor with his stuff . During the time he was working I never smell no ashes or smoke. I will be calling him again He will be the one working on our fireplace for now on. I will be giving his number to all my family , friends, co workers who I know have a fireplace. Especially in my community. We have a lot of homes with fireplaces."

Fireplace Cleaners questions, answered by experts

You should use an angled brush to first paint the mortar lines, then go in with a high-density roller to evenly paint the bricks one at a time. You can also use a flat paintbrush to paint individual bricks, but a roller is faster and easier to use thanks to its longer handle and wider surface area for coating the bricks. To finish, go in with the paint brush for edges or hard-to-reach areas.

You can turn a red brick white through a process called whitewashing. Whitewash isn’t a stain but rather is made from water and white latex paint. Adding more water to the mix will make the solution look lighter when applied, and adding more paint will make it look more white.

You may be wondering: can you paint cement? Fortunately, the answer is yes.

To change the color of your cinder blocks, you have two options. You can either paint them or stain them. Either way, you'll be able to choose from a wide range of color options. Some popular colors for cinder block painting include off-white shades and gray tones, which add a modern spin to the traditional gray blocks.

Regular HVAC filter changes, deep cleaning, and air quality monitoring help maintain a healthy environment.

When comparing which is better between German schmear, whitewash, and limewash, your answer will depend on the look you're going for. German schmear is the best option for those who want a heavily distressed look for their brick without full coverage. Whitewash is best if you like the current brick color and want it to show through. Limewash paint is best for full coverage.
