"Bert (Francis Greenworks) came to my house to remove and dispose of toxic items, including old paint cans. He came the day after I contacted him. He was on time, called when he was on his way, and did the job quickly and efficiently. He’s very pleasant and the price was reasonable. I will recommend his services and call him again if and when I need his help in the future."

"Travis and Nikki were prompt, organized and honest! Iâ ve used them for a few projects but this last one was for tree limbs that snapped in the last storm. They removed all debris form the fallen branches and even trimmed a few other branches that were questionable. Would highly recommend them!"

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Service – Highly Recommend Tylor! I cannot say enough great things about Tylor and the outstanding service he provided! From start to finish, he was professional, punctual, courteous, and extremely efficient. He came to my home and removed a large amount of building materials, and the entire process was smooth, fast, and stress-free. Tylor went above and beyond, he worked quickly, handled everything with care, and left the area spotless. His positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail truly set him apart. It’s rare to find someone so dependable and committed to doing an exceptional job. If you’re looking for reliable, top-tier service, Tylor is the one to call. Garbage Collection questions, answered by experts

On average, it takes one to four hours for a professional to install a garbage disposal. This includes removing the old unit, taking necessary measurements for positioning, removing and fitting new pipes, and installing the brand-new disposal system. If there are unforeseen issues, such as accessibility concerns, the process takes longer.

The most common garbage disposal size in the U.S. is 1/2 horsepower. This size is ideal for households with three or fewer people or those that don't produce much food waste. Although 1/2 horsepower can't handle the typical food waste load for a household of four (which is about 250 pounds of food waste annually) as effectively as 3/4 horsepower, it remains the most common size of garbage disposal on the market.

These appliances certainly increase the number of things allowed down the drain, but they’re not foolproof. There are several items you shouldn’t put in your garbage disposal, according to manufacturers and technicians. Don’t put coffee grounds down the drain. The same goes for eggshells, potato peels, hard foods, onion skins, and any dry, expandable food. Most importantly, never put grease or oils down the drain.

While the drain connection for a garbage disposal is nearly universal and fits standard sink drain holes of 3 1/2 to 4 inches, the size of the disposal unit itself is not. You must have enough space in the cabinet underneath your sink to accommodate the disposal's housing. A larger model may not fit in a compact cabinet or if the existing plumbing is arranged in an unusual way. Before buying a new garbage disposal, measure the available space under your sink. If you are replacing an old unit, it's often easiest to choose a new model of a similar size.

As with many appliances, proper maintenance is key to maximizing your garbage disposal’s life span. If everyone in your household is on board with proper care and maintenance, like running water while operating the disposal, you should get plenty of years out of your unit. Avoid putting the wrong food items down the disposal, including pasta, rice, bread, and more.
