"After having called several companies which did not impress, I called this company and spoke to Yoni. From the moment I met him, I knew he was the real deal. A lot of companies know how to remove mold, but with Yoni, I felt like he was a close, personal friend who had my back, and who I could trust to do the work, do it right, and in a timely fashion. I hired him to do a job and not only did he do it perfectly and professionally, but also he inspected my whole condo, found other issues and took care of them! In addition, after I had already paid him, he discovered another issue which he also took care of just out of the goodness if his heart. To say that he went above and beyond is a major understatement. I wish I could have paid him double his asking fee because he deserves it. Don't even give it a second thought; there is no better than Yoni and his company! Thank you Yoni, all the best."

"Very knowledgeable! It's our first time purchasing a manufactured home with well water and he made suggestions on what inspections to get. So glad he did because insurance wanted everything we got. We also got a water testing which was great because it came back with issues we were able to address it quickly."

The EPA Renovation, Repair, and Painting Final Rule (RRP Rule) requires that on a home built before 1978, if you disturb more than 20 sq ft of exterior paint or more than 6 sq ft in any interior room the disturbed painted surfaces must be checked for lead based paint. This law affects remodelers, painters, plumbers, roofers, window replacers, kitchen cabinet replacers, or any trade that disturbs paint while working. \n \nAt Lead Paint Solutions, LLC, we use a state of the art, nondestructive XRF analyzer to not only identify lead paint, but also measure the volume of lead in the paint. EPA defines lead paint as paint that has 5% lead by weight or 1 milligram per square centimeter. Knowing the exact amount of lead in your paint and comparing it to the EPA allowable amount, rather than simply saying it has lead in it will oftentimes determine that there is not enough lead in the paint to trigger expensive lead safe construction practices. "Had massive mold damages to my property after a flash flood hit us bad in Kissimmee 4 months ago. Immediately contracted Adjuster Groups to have them help out with filing a claim. They arranged all the testing and removal after the insurance panned out the money. Great service and aazing response time!"

Lead Testing and Removal FAQs, answered by experts

DIY kits are available for basic air quality testing, but professional services provide more comprehensive results and recommendations. While a DIY kit may seem cost-effective, a professional assessment is more thorough. Inspectors are better equipped to catch all pollutants and hazards, and you'll still need a professional to verify and act on DIY test results. Furthermore, some kits don't test for certain pollutants or only detect their presence without measuring specific levels (like mold spores). It's generally better to opt for a detailed professional assessment.

Lead removal services typically cost between $1,000 and $5,000, depending on the extent of lead presence, the property size, and the complexity of the abatement process.

The average cost of a lead paint inspection is about $600, but it can cost as low as $150 or as much as $800, depending on the size of the area, geographic location, and the inspection methods. Some of the most common lead paint inspection methods include:

  • Visual inspection: $150–$400

  • Paint sampling: $200–$600

  • X-ray fluorescence (XRF): $250–$700

  • Risk assessment: $300–$800

No, a standard home inspection includes the basics and does not offer lead paint testing. Professional lead paint inspectors need specific licenses to perform these inspections, which not all home inspectors have. If you suspect lead paint in the home you are about to purchase, you will need to pay separately to have that done. If the findings come back positive, you may be able to negotiate with the buyer to cover the cost of the removal.

Hiring a professional for mold and toxic material testing ensures precise identification of harmful substances within a home. Professionals utilize specialized equipment and techniques, providing accurate results that inform proper removal strategies, safeguarding occupant health.
