"I hired Mike to install a garbage disposal, a ceiling fan and some miscellaneous items including a very stubborn chair I was not able to handle myself. "Gary did the work to make our second story deck safe. Gary was very professional and took care of everything that was not done right by the person who built the deck. He also took care of things that were not seen until the project was started. He completed the work in a timely manner and did excellent work. Matthew was very helpful in getting this work completely quickly as we are in the middle of selling our home. Thank you guys!"

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

Technically, you can fill in a pool yourself—with the caveat that filling in a pool requires the ability to drain the pool properly and move a substantial amount of dirt, which aren’t beginner DIY skills. If you want to fill in a pool, you’re better off hiring a local pool removal professional.

While you can use a grounding rod when bonding an in-ground pool, that’s necessarily the best option. A grounding rod is an older grounding method that’s not usually used anymore, thanks to modern electrical design and services. Again, if you don’t have electrical experience, your best and safest bet is to hire a pool electrician.

Don’t worry if your pool is still cloudy right after shocking it. Some shocking products will leave your pool cloudy for a day or so after using them. However, if your pool is still cloudy several days after shocking it, it could be due to poor filtration, low chlorine, or one of the other problems outlined above. If you’ve tried our fixes but still can’t clear the cloudiness, call a pool repair professional.

Setting up a pool on unlevel ground is not recommended as it can damage the pool or yard and put the safety of those using it at risk. If a pool isn't level, the water's weight won't distribute evenly, putting excessive pressure on certain parts. This can cause the pool liner to tear or the walls to collapse, leading to water damage, expensive repairs, or potential injury to swimmers. It is more cost-effective to level the ground correctly before installation rather than waiting to address serious structural issues later.

The life expectancy of a stock tank pool depends on the level of maintenance that you put into it, but it typically lasts for 10 years or more with regular maintenance and repairs. Regularly testing the water and adjusting the chemical levels, using a chlorine float instead of tablets that can end up on the floor of the pool, lining the pool, cleaning the stock tank, and managing any rust immediately will help extend the life of the pool.
