"It was a pleasure doing business with Wes, the owner. The team, Wes, David, and Louie arrived right on time and got started immediately after introductions and instructions. David and Louie are very professional and very polite young men. My new floors were a mess with construction dust, grout haze, tape residue, and stains. The end result was far better than I expected! I am a truly happy customer and highly recommend this company."

"Best painting experience I have had. Jorge the owner was so professional, communicated throughout the process, and showed up almost every day to supervise his men. They were extremely careful around landscaping, pool, etc and cleaned up immaculately. They really took their time on the details and removed old security light fixtures from the prior owner I didn’t want and patched/filled holes. After everything was power washed and primed, they painted a small area with the trim and main colors near the roof/gutter so my wife could see them on the house and in the sunlight. Good move - she changed the trim color and they had not bought the paint at that point!! Great service. Would recommend to anyone and plan on using them for inside work!!"

Deck Staining questions, answered by experts

Painted decks typically require a new coat about once every ten years. In between new coats, it's best to maintain your deck by regularly removing debris, washing it down with non-abrasive cleaners, and staying ahead of structural issues, such as loose boards and rotting wood. In some cases, painting a small section of your deck affected by damage or the sun can lower your costs and workload.

Yes, pressure-treated wood can occasionally turn green due to certain preservatives, such as copper-based chemicals, used during the treatment process. These chemicals react with the wood, creating a greenish tint. The good news? It's temporary, and the color will fade over time. Staining or painting can also help hide any unwanted hues.

Apply a wood stain or sealant to properly maintain a wood deck railing and keep it looking new. Sealants protect wood from moisture and weathering. Regularly inspect the railing for loose screws, damaged balusters, and other signs of wear to make timely repairs. Routinely clean the railing using mild soap, water, and a soft bristle brush.

Choosing whether your deck should be lighter or darker than your house is a matter of personal preference, as there is no right or wrong answer. However, considering the pros and cons of each can help guide your decision. Darker colors are often chosen because they show less dirt, footprints, and marks from daily wear, making them easier to keep clean. On the other hand, lighter deck colors tend to stay cooler in the summer. From a design perspective, using a deck color that contrasts with your home's exterior can help make the deck a more defined and distinct feature. Consulting color theory can also make the process of choosing a complementary house and deck color combination easier.

Stain is meant to be absorbed by the porous wood, allowing some of the natural grain to show through. With that in mind, you don’t want to add more stain than the wood can absorb, as you risk covering up its natural markings. Generally, two coats is the maximum you should do, although very dense hardwoods may only be able to take a single coat.
