"These guys did a submersible well replacement for us. We were put into their schedule within a few days of calling, they had everything they needed to do the job when they arrived and the job was done in about 5 hours in the afternoon and evening. They were pleasant, efficient and did a good job. I recommend them."

"My well pump was not working. I called and the technician came within two hours. He had to leave to pick up the pump at a supply place. When he returned, he said they didn't have the 3/4 HP pump that I needed. They upgraded it to a 1 HP pump for the same price. I also received a 10%  senior discount. I had water again in just a few hours from my call.

Wells and Pumps questions, answered by experts

Wells typically replenish at a rate of about five gallons per minute, but several variables can influence how quickly they refill. A deep well will take more time to replenish than a shallow one. The replenishment rate can be slowed by issues such as leaks, damage, a faulty well pump, or a clogged well screen. Other factors, such as the surrounding geology, regular precipitation, and proper maintenance, also affect the recovery rate.

If your well pump is running continuously (meaning without turning off or stopping), it's a sign that your well pump is starting to break down. The length of time your well pump should cycle is dependent on many factors, like the tank size, pressure setting, and even the amount of water in your well. Generally, your well pump should cycle, or go from running to not running every few minutes.

There are many potential causes of low well water pressure. The most common include sediment buildup, leaking pipes, a failing well pump, or a cracked pressure tank.

You should check water pressure twice a year to ensure there aren’t any irregularities and that it isn’t too high. It’s also smart to check it any time you notice symptoms of high water pressure (like banging pipes, inconsistent water flow, and leaky fixtures). Similarly, if you live in an area that’s prone to water pressure fluctuations due to municipal supply changes, elevation, or seasonal temperature shifts, check it more frequently. You can buy an affordable water pressure gauge and check the water pressure yourself.

Regular checks of pressure tanks, testing water quality, and cleaning intake screens.
